WWE TLC 2020 Full Results, Grades, and Analysis

WWE TLC 2020 took place on December 20, 2020 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT live on the WWE Network. The following will provide some results, highlights, and grades/analysis for the last PPV of 2020.
WWE TLC 2020! This anticipatory event was full of table crashes, ladder drops, and chair shots. Despite poor build up, this card was stacked enough on paper to sufficiently entertain the WWE fanbase during the holiday season. Here are the results, highlights, and grades/analysis for WWE TLC 2020, starting with the kickoff 8-man tag match showcasing Big E, Daniel Bryan, Otis, and Chad Gable vs. Sami Zayn, King Corbin, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Big E, Daniel Bryan, Otis, and Chad Gable vs. Sami Zayn, King Corbin, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura [8-Man Tag Match]
Result: Big E, Daniel Bryan, Otis, and Chad Gable (via pinfall)
Grade: 3.0/5.0 Stars (C+)
Big E and King Corbin start the match. Corbin attempted a Clothesline but Big E countered with a Belly to Belly Suplex to Corbin. Big E tagged in Chad Gable and King Corbin tagged in Cesaro. Chad Gable delivered an arm drag to Cesaro. Chad Gable tagged in Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan backflipped off the top tope and delivered the running clothesline. Cesaro tagged in Shinsuke Nakamura, who delivered a Snap Suplex to Bryan. What an Artist Collective reunion.
For the most part, the heels took control of Bryan, making the fans wait for the babyface hot tag. Bryan delivered a Missile Dropkick to Corbin and tagged in Otis while Corbin tagged in Cesaro. Otis delivered a Big Splash in the corner to Cesaro and tagged in Chad Gable. Cesaro delivered a Powerbomb combo move with Nakamura for the pin on Gable, but Otis broke it up. This match has been better than expected for a kickoff match. On the other hand, they should be on the main.
Corbin delivered a Spine Buster to Otis. Daniel Bryan delivered a Running Knee to Corbin. Cesaro delivered a Running Uppercut to Daniel Bryan. Chad Gable delivered a Rolling German Suplex to Cesaro but did not go for the cover. Sami Zayn ran in to tag Cesaro and capitalize on the weakened Gable. Gable countered Zayn’s capitalization to tag in Big E, who delivered a Big Ending to Sami Zayn for the pinfall and the victory. IC Championship opportunity for Big E coming up!
