Sasha Banks tossed Carmella outside the ring. Carmella fell outside into her assistant’s arms, and her assistant assisted her into a Hurricanrana to Banks. Banks rallied back by delivering the Meteora to Carmella inside the ring. Carmella countered by delivering a Neckbreaker to Banks on the edge of the apron. However, it was not enough. Banks delivered a Backbreaker and Eddie Guerrero’s 3 Amigos and Frog Splash to Carmella for the near fall.

Carmella delivered a Facebuster to Banks for the nearfall. Carmella delivered a SuperKick to Banks but Banks grabs the ropes to stop the pinfall count. Banks and Carmella performed plenty near fall bridge until Carmella eventually locked in the Code of Silence and Double Chicken Wing. Banks eventually rolled through to lock in the Bank Statement, but the assistant pulled Carmella’s foot outside the ring to save Carmella. This match has been better than their SmackDown match.

Banks delivered a Meteora to the assistant outside the ring. Carmella capitalized and delivered three Superkicks to Banks for the near fall. Banks countered the Facebuster into the Bank Statement. Carmella tapped out and Banks retained the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Sasha Banks undoubtedly gave Carmella the best match of her career. Both superstars exceeded expectations in this match. Banks will now move on to her next challenger.
