‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton [Firefly Inferno Match]

Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt played with fire. Randy Orton was sitting in Bray Wyatt’s rocking chair. The Fiend lit a match to burn Orton, but Orton escaped. Orton grabbed an axe handle and steel steps to take down The Fiend. The Fiend delivered an STO to Orton in retaliation. Orton delivered a DDT from the apron and remained poised for an RKO. As soon as he attempted the RKO, The Fiend countered with the Manndible Claw.

Orton pushed The Fiend into the fire. The Fiend ran into the ring while on fire and ran into an RKO by Orton. Orton set The Fiend on fire. Does this mean that Orton won? Well, apparently the match was not finished yet. Orton spilled gasoline on The Fiend to set him up on fire for good. Orton lit a match and put The Fiend on fire completely. Randy Orton won the match in what was an interesting Firefly Inferno Match.

On the bright side, The Fiend did not take a pinfall loss here. He was merely set on fire, which should not hurt his momentum. Orton needed the victory after the piss poor booking decision to give him another three-week title reign. Orton and The Fiend have a lot of history, and this cinematic match took note of their history while delivering special effects that a mainstream fan would love to see.
