As D-X would ask, “are you ready?” No, I said are you ready! The Royal Rumble is right around the corner once again!

It is Royal Rumble time once again in the WWE. The holiday season is over but everybody can be excited about one more present. The Royal Rumble has been the gift that keeps on giving for years now. We have seen some of the most historic and emotional returns and debuts at the show. Now that we have two rumble matches each year, the fun has just been doubled.

We are about to have the fourth Women’s Royal Rumble match. Who will join the likes of Asuka, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair? Well, we have five different choices on possible winners of this year’s rumble match. From former dominant champions to stars looking for a chance to shine, will one of these five women go on to WrestleMania?

5. Naomi

As of this moment, Naomi has been out of action for most of the year. Despite being inactive, she was drafted to the Raw roster as a part of the draft in October. She has been recovering from a fibroid removal. However, she could be cleared to make a shocking return for this year’s rumble match and pull off an amazing victory.

Since her first rumble appearance, Naomi has become the “Kofi” of the match. She has pulled off some impressive tricks and moves in order to stay in the match. Unfortunately for her, her moves have never led her to a victory. However, this could be the year where that changes for her. She could find a way to stay and become the winner.

She was the inaugural winner of the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal and a former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion. She has been to the top of the card in the past and could be able to do it again on the red brand. This could also be a chance for Naomi to have a change of character. Either way, we are eager to have her back.

4. Shayna Baszler

I hope that I am not speaking for myself when I say a Raw Women’s Championship match between Asuka and Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 37 would be incredible. Arguably the two toughest NXT Women’s Champions of all time, Shayna and Asuka is a moment that deserves more than a throwaway match on Raw.

These are the two women that tore through the NXT women and now have been tearing up the main roster. I am honestly shocked that these two haven’t already had a feud. This is a match that has already built itself. It would be nice to see Shayna show up in the Royal Rumble match and remind everyone exactly who she is.

Shayna was the most dominant force in NXT after Asuka was. However, the two didn’t cross paths in their time on the yellow brand. Shayna would be a great choice to have won the rumble match and go on to face Asuka at WrestleMania. The match could go either way but we will have an answer to who was more dominant.

3. Bianca Belair

Since her arrival in WWE, Bianca Belair has been a stand out due to her look and skills. She arrived in NXT and declared herself as the “EST” of the company and has been proving it ever since. She has held her own against the best in the WWE in her short time with the company. She was one of the top stars in NXT before being called up to the main roster this year.

Before her call up, Bianca was a surprise entrant in the 2020 Royal Rumble. In her first-ever rumble match, Belair entered at number two and went on to eliminate a record eight different superstars. In her over a half-hour in the rumble, Bianca proved that she could stand with the WWE’s best and could last in the Royal Rumble.

This year Bianca could enter her second rumble match and one-up herself. Bianca is one of the toughest and strongest stars on the roster. She can toss out anybody that comes in her path. Bianca has what it takes to get the job done and would not shock me at all by winning the 2021 Royal Rumble and going on to WrestleMania 37.

2. Bayley

Out of the three Women’s Royal Rumble matches, two of them were won by members of the Four Horsewomen of wrestling. This year, Bayley may join Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch by becoming the third Four Horsewoman to win the rumble match. 2020 has arguably been the year of Bayley. She held the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the majority of the year.

She held the Women’s Tag Team Championships with Sasha Banks before turning on her partner later on. Her following feud with Banks was emotional and led to the end of her record 380-day reign as champion. Since losing her championship, Bayley has continued to be pushed as one of the top stars.

She was the self-proclaimed captain of the SmackDown Survivor Series team. She recently picked up a huge victory over Bianca Belair showing that she is still being booked strong. In order to get another shot at Sasha Banks, Bayley may have to win the Royal Rumble in order to do so. Bayley is no stranger to the rumble. She has come short twice, maybe third times a charm?

1. Sonya Deville

The wrestling world has been buzzing since Sonya Deville was seen on this past SmackDown. Without a single word, Sonya Deville looked like a big deal. She walked past the likes of Billie Kay, Tamina, and The Riott Squad looking like a major threat. She was written off television for personal reasons after her feud with Mandy Rose.

Now that she is back, I am expecting that Sonya Deville is coming back in a damn big way. She has been beside Mandy Rose for the majority of her time in WWE. She is more than ready to break out on her own and has all of the ability in the world to do so. If she is booked properly, she could be a viable threat for any champion.

It wouldn’t shock me to see Sonya Deville standing alone at the end of the rumble. She has been away from the company since losing a loser leaves WWE match at SummerSlam. Although Corey Graves stated she has been re-instated to SmackDown, Sonya could win the rumble match and become a threat for every champion in her path.

A win in the Rumble match could propel Sonya to huge things. She has proved herself in and out of the ring. She deserves to have the chance to be a top player in the company.
