WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on January 11, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network.

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, there are no scheduled segments, but there is one scheduled match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton in a non-title match. This match was booked for the fifth time since their initial encounter at SummerSlam last August, either to continue McIntyre’s momentum on his path to his WWE Title match with Goldberg at the Rumble or find a way to include Orton for a triple threat title match.

The WWE has already kickstarted its road to WrestleMania as it builds towards the Royal Rumble. It has already announced that Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton from WWE Raw will partake in the Men’s Royal Rumble, while Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair from WWE Raw will partake in the Women’s Royal Rumble.

The only title match that has been added thus far is Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Goldberg for the WWE Title. Other possible title matches that could be added are: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Riddle for the United States Title, Asuka and Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, and Hurt Business (c) vs. The New Day for the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Since there are no matches from the red brand scheduled for the Rumble, expect WWE to book some matches for the pay-per-view on this episode. There won’t be too many because the two Royal Rumbles already take a huge chunk of time from the show itself. With that being said, it’s now time to preview the matches and segments that will occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

5.) Hurt Business (w/MVP) (c) vs. Lucha House Party [Raw Tag Team Championships]

On last week’s WWE Raw, Lucha House Party defeated Raw Tag Team Champions Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Business. These non-title victories need to stop. Nonetheless, it warrants a title shot for Lucha House Party. The WWE will likely book this title match on this episode of Raw, where Hurt Business will evidently retain to regain their momentum before they inevitably battle The New Day in a championship rematch at the Rumble.

As a side note, Alexander seems to be annoyed with Benjamin eating the pinfall for most of their tag team matches. This should pressure Benjamin to step up his game and help them become indomitable tag team champions. On the other hand, their recent dissension could symbolize their downfall sooner rather than later. Their downfall would ironically result in Alexander eating the pinfall after his haughtiness gets the better of him.

Prediction: Hurt Business
