WrestleMania, WWE’s biggest show of the year was scheduled for March 27. Now it might be taking place later than expected.

“The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment” was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 27, but will now be pushed back two weeks.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, WrestleMania 37 will likely be taking place on Sunday, April 11. No reason has been given for the alleged move.

With the date being moved, no location has been announced either. WWE has been holding Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown at Tropicana Field since December 11. By April, baseball is scheduled to be back and the Tampa Bay Rays will be facing the New York Yankees on their home field around that time.

Going back to the Amway Center is not likely an option, either, as the NBA season is currently in progress. While the Orlando Magic’s website has nothing past March 3rd, the full schedule hasn’t been released. It’s possible that the Magic will be playing at home on April 11.

WrestleMania 36 was originally scheduled to take place at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Super Bowl LV. As of now, there are no events scheduled for April 11. If all else fails, WWE could always do like they did last year and film WrestleMania at the Performance Center and other locations.

dark. Next. WrestleMania 37 predictions

WWE’s goal is to have fans in attendance for WrestleMania 37. However, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it’s uncertain if that will be possible. Even if fans are allowed, it obviously won’t be to a packed arena. For the Super Bowl, the NFL is allowing just 20% capacity of the 65,000 seat stadium. This allows for socially distant pods for fans. If WrestleMania were held at Raymond James Stadium, it is likely that the same restrictions would be in place for attendees.
