WWE Royal Rumble 2021: Top Ten Surprise Entrants
9. Alicia Fox
It has become clear that chaos comes with Alicia Fox. Still as crazy and foxy as ever, the former Divas Champion entered the women’s Rumble at number 21. However, she barely made it to the ring before the 24/7 Champion R-Truth made his way to the ring, ready for the men’s Rumble. Fox let him know that he was in the wrong rumble match, but the mob of 24/7 Title challengers had found him nevertheless.
Truth entered the ring and worked with Fox to fight off the herd and before number twenty-two had even been announced, Fox pinned Truth to win the 24/7 Championship! Unfortunately, she was eliminated shortly after by Mandy Rose. To add insult to injury, Truth pinned Alicia to get his baby back immediately following her elimination. Fox then chased Truth to the back to end her Rumble showing.
Despite her short time in the Rumble, Alicia made sure it was memorable. After all, she was the only person to win a championship while competing in the Rumble that night! If that isn’t worth making this list, I don’t know what is.
8. Jillian Hall
The words “you know you want me” had never been so true. The fans didn’t know they wanted Jillian Hall to return until her theme music played at number eight. Hall was a great addition to the match and I am sure more than one person reacted as Billie Kay did to the moment. Kay sold the moment like she was in the presence of Britney Spears, Hall’s dream come true.
In Hall, Kay finally found the temporary partner she’d been waiting for. They formed the short-lived “Billie & Jillie” tag team, a duo that we are already missing. However, things got rocky for them once Kay’s former partner and best friend Peyton Royce came out. Kay was torn between her loyalties and she made her decision by tossing Hall over the top rope.
However, karma would get Billie, as she was eliminated immediately afterward by The Riott Squad. In her post-match interview, she expressed her excitement to take part in the match. For once, we were all happy to hear Jillian sing. We will give her this moment, but she shouldn’t let the moment get to her head before going full pop star on us again.
