Here’s looking forward to the Elimination Chamber with five predictions for the big event.

WWE’s next pay-per-view the Elimination Chamber is approaching. One of the most important stops on the Road To WrestleMania, many major moments have happened at this show. We witnessed Bray Wyatt win his first WWE Championship in 2017. We have also seen the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions crowned at the show.

Since the Elimination Chamber match concept was turned into a whole pay-per-view, it has earned its spot on the Road To WrestleMania. We are looking at you Fastlane, you better step your game up to earn your rightful spot. However, we are focusing on one stop on the road at a time. We are going to look at the upcoming show and get a little bold.

We have all heard the motto “that anything can happen can happen in the WWE” for years. Let’s push that theory to the limit, shall we? Here are five bold predictions that could happen on February 21st.

5. Victoria Competes In Elimination Chamber

Everyone was excited when Victoria made her shocking return in the Royal Rumble. For the first time since 2009, Victoria was back in the WWE. The former two-time WWE Women’s Champion entered the rumble as entrant number ten. She lasted right over seven minutes before being eliminated by Shayna Baszler, a rightful choice to eliminate a legend.

However, Victoria had announced her retirement back in 2019. Therefore, her return at the Royal Rumble could have been a one-off appearance. Although, I doubt any fans would be against one last run from Victoria in the WWE. She helped lead the company towards the eventual Women’s Evolution. This is a chance for her to be able to enjoy what she helped build.

At the first-ever Raw Roulette show in 2003, another historic first-ever happened. Victoria and Lita took place in the first-ever women’s Steel Cage match. Victoria won the match with the unlikely assistance of Matt Hardy. Victoria could have a first at this point in her career by competing in women’s elimination chamber match. My fingers are crossed.

4. Elimination Chamber Twin Switch

If Roman Reigns is forced to defend his Universal Championship inside the Elimination Chamber, you can expect him to have a little back-up inside. There is no better to have his back than his cousin Jey Uso.  Roman will want Jey in the chamber to help double team all of the other guys. With Jey having his back, Roman would have a much better chance to survive the chamber.

However, things could easily be switched up and turn the odds against Roman. After being injured at WrestleMania 36, it has been over a year since Jimmy Uso has been in action. Rumors have said that he has healed from his injury at any time. While it would be easy to bring Jimmy back and reunite The Uso’s, there are always other ideas.

Jey Uso has had a career-defining singles run since his brother’s injury. He is currently aligned with his cousin Roman Reigns.

One that is swirling in my mind is a classic twin switch. However, this switch would be a little more clever than an ordinary twin switch. Without being shown on camera, Jimmy Uso could dispose of his brother earlier in the show. Jimmy could go on to replace his brother in the chamber, posing as Jey until his turn to enter. Fantasy booking at its finest, but what a moment it would be for Roman to realize it was Jimmy trapped in a chamber with him and not Jey.

3. The Miz wins the WWE Championship

You might be surprised that the Money In The Bank briefcase has only been cashed in after one Elimination Chamber match. The first time the briefcase was ever cashed in, Edge targeted John Cena after retaining the WWE Championship inside the chamber at New Year’s Revolution in 2006. A few spears later and Edge was the WWE Champion for the very first time.

Since then, nobody else has used Edge’s original method to pull off their cash-in. Despite it being one of the most dangerous matches in the company, it has been over a decade since somebody cashed in after an Elimination Chamber match. At the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, The Miz may take a page out of the “Ultimate” Opportunist” book.

After the WWE Championship match, we may hear the famous word “Awesome” signaling The Miz. He came up short in his first cash-in attempt at last year’s TLC pay-per-view. The Miz politicked his way to get his briefcase back. He will be smarter about his decision this time around. This may be the right place and right time for The Miz to be WWE Champion again.

2. Brock Lesnar Crashes The Show

It wouldn’t be the first time that Brock Lesnar has ever crashed a show before. If Brock Lesnar decides to make his presence known at the Elimination Chamber, there’s nobody who can stop him. Well, maybe besides maybe Drew McIntyre, who beat Brock at WrestleMania 36 for the WWE Championship. While Drew has been dominating, Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen since then.

Many fans were speculating that Brock was going to return at the Royal Rumble. However, Brock never appeared. Perhaps, Brock could have been held out until the Elimination Chamber. After one of the Elimination Chamber matches, Brock’s music could be heard and The Beast can be unleashed on the WWE once again.

He could be a sight to see for Brock to try and rear apart the Elimination Chamber to try and force his way into the ring. This is also a time that Brock’s involvement could go either way. He could return to avenge his loss against Drew McIntyre. However, he could possibly return as a face and target his former advocate Paul Heyman and his “new man,” Roman Reigns.

We have seen Brock versus Roman multiple times in the past, but never quite like it would be this time around. The tides have changed in their stories drastically since their last encounter. This would be a fresh look at an old story.

1. John Cena wins the Universal Championship

The most fun part about these bold predictions is the more outlandish ones. I believe that this one will fit the definition of outlandish. However, there is always the chance that John Cena may return home and look to win one of the only championships left he hasn’t already. Cena is looked at as a man that has done it all, but there are tasks left for him to complete.

Cena lacks the Intercontinental Championship from becoming a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion in the company.

Cena hasn’t won the Universal Championship yet; the keyword being yet. If Goldberg can return to win the Universal Championship, you can’t count out the man once dubbed “Super Cena” from doing the same. We have seen legendary superstars return to win world championships on the Road To WrestleMania.

One of the most memorable returns being The Rock. He returned at the 2013 Royal Rumble pay-per-view to end CM Punk’s historic reign as WWE Champion on his way to facing John Cena at WrestleMania 29. In the WWE’s recent WrestleMania Report, Cena played “Hugh Kantseeme” in the skit before ripping off the costume and proclaiming “If you want some, come get some.”

While just a tease, the unimaginable could happen and John Cena could end up becoming the Universal Champion, earning his record-breaking 17th world championship. That would lead to WrestleMania 37 where we would possibly see John Cena versus Edge once more time. You asked for bold, there’s bold. Let’s just hope that I’m not right.
