WWE Raw Predictions: Bray Wyatt Will Return To Pulverize Randy Orton
By Mark Justice
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, there are neither scheduled segments nor scheduled matches. The WWE has already kickstarted its road to WrestleMania as it builds towards the Elimination Chamber. Since there are only two weeks of build left for this PPV, expect WWE to book some last-minute title matches for the pay-per-view on this episode.
On last week’s WWE Raw, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus began their WWE Championship feud on the road to WrestleMania. Meanwhile, in the women’s division, Naomi and Lana became the number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championships and will either battle Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax on this episode of Raw or at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
Speaking of which, Elimination Chamber is the pivotal roadblock to Mania that could change who the champions are and what the potential matchups could be at Mania. Some title matches that could evidently be added to the card are Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sheamus for the WWE Title and Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax vs. Naomi & Lana for the Women’s Tag Titles.
This week’s episode will hopefully feature key Elimination Chamber qualification matches to set up the chamber matches for both the WWE Championship and Raw Women’s Championship en route to WrestleMania 37. With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict the matches and segments that will occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on February 8, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.
5.) Hurt Business vs. Jeff Hardy & Carlito [Tag Match]
On last week’s WWE Raw, Hurt Business retained the Raw Tag Team Championships against Lucha House Party while Jeff Hardy and Carlito defeated Elias and Jaxson Ryker in a tag team match. This victory by Hardy and Carlito could set them up for a tag team title opportunity. Since these two superstars began their careers within the same era of WWE, their alliance actually makes sense.
Instead of booking a number one contender’s match, the WWE will continue its non-title match trend in order to make the champions look weak and repeat the same match with the title on the line at the following PPV with minimal hype and build. Henceforth, Hardy and Carlito would defeat Hurt Business to earn a tag title opportunity at the Elimination Chamber PPV in what is truly an infinitesimal tag team division.
Prediction: Jeff Hardy & Carlito
