After winning the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble – Bianca Belair is likely to challenge her brand’s champion, Sasha Banks, at WWE WrestleMania 37.

If “The EST of WWE” decides to face “The Boss”, on The Grandest Stage of Them All, the number one contender for Raw’s Women’s Championship will be decided at the next pay-per-view – WWE Elimination Chamber.

The event is three weeks away, giving WWE enough time to have qualifying matches on Raw to decided the six participants in the contest. That is the usual way of choosing who will be in the Chamber, but Adam Pearce could randomly announce the women involved – it depends on how Vince McMahon feels on the day.

Shayna Baszler won this match a year ago and faced Becky Lynch on night one of WrestleMania 36. Unless WWE goes in a different direction and switches the title – Asuka awaits the survivor of one of the most brutal match structures in the company.

Raw’s women’s roster is full of superstars that could have a brilliant match with the “Empress of Tomorrow” at WrestleMania 37 – one of these six will get the chance to do just that if they are victorious inside the Elimination Chamber.

Peyton Royce

Other than her brief and strange partnership with Lacey Evans – Peyton Royce has hardly featured on Raw since The IIconics split up six months ago.

Royce was in limbo, after breaking up with Billie Kay, but that was not the plan. According to reports – she was set for a push after impressing Vince McMahon, who saw her as the star of the team. That push has not materialized – the Elimination Chamber would be a good place to hit the reset button and give Royce the chance to shine. Royce has improved a lot – after being called up to the main roster in 2018.

Royce can be a player on the red brand. A good showing in this match, the former Women’s Tag Team Champion does not have to win, but scoring a fall or two would give her something to build on and give the WWE Universe a reason to see her as a threat. Royce has shown glimpses of what she can do. The Australian pinned Bayley at Survivor Series and repeated the trick against Charlotte Flair in a tag team match on Raw last month. Due to WWE’s inconsistent booking, she did not maintain any momentum after those wins, Royce needs creative to show faith in her so she can prove McMahon right.

Mickie James

WWE are phasing Mickie James out as a talent. Despite being cleared for action months ago, her appearance at the Royal Rumble was her first match since September last year. Rather than let her career in the company fizzle out – WWE should begin a storyline similar to Ric Flair in 2008, where he had to retire after the next singles match he lost.

James should be in the Chamber match but be the last superstars eliminated. That would give her the motivation to keep on pushing for another shot at the Raw Women’s Championship until she either wins it or retires after giving her all.

The master of the Mick Kick is a legend. She deserves a big farewell before leaving the company rather than going out the back door when her contract expires. She is one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster – fans want her to succeed. A great performance in this match could lead to something bigger and give James the spotlight she deserves before her time in WWE comes to an end.

Alexa Bliss

WWE commentators describe the Chamber as a “demonic structure”, that environment will suit Alexa Bliss’ current “Female Fiend” gimmick down to the ground. In that guise – Bliss seems impervious to pain, which is very handy in a match as dangerous as this. The mind games Bliss could play with her rivals, in this setting, would make compelling viewing. For that reason alone – she should be in this match.

Bliss had a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship two weeks ago but, that contest did not reach a proper conclusion thanks to Randy Orton – she deserves the chance to fight for another shot at Asuka’s title.

Other than the aforementioned match on Raw – Bliss has not been in the title picture as of late.

She has only wrestled five times in three months, which is not enough for a star as big as her. It is time she got back to wrestling regularly. The Chamber would be the perfect opportunity to book the former 5-time Women’s Champion as a dominant force, getting her new persona over in the process.

In 2018 – Bliss successfully retained the red brand’s women’s title in the Chamber. If she is in this year’s match, she would be one of the favorites to become the new number one contender for that championship.

Charlotte Flair

Women have been part of Elimination Chamber matches since 2018 – it is hard to believe “The Queen” has not been in any of them, she should make her debut this year.

The most successful woman in WWE history is in the middle of a feud with Lacey Evans, but that should not stop her from fighting for the chance to face Asuka – the woman she won the tag team titles with last month. Evans seems like a placeholder for Flair – a short feud that will keep her occupied until she wants to challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship again.

It is hard to imagine Flair left out of the title picture during WrestleMania season – winning this match is the best way to facilitate that. A match like this is perfect for Flair. She can prove her dominance over the rest of the female roster by entering the Chamber first and attempt to go the distance.

Flair has called herself “the hardest working woman” in WWE – surviving this brutal match would reinforce her claim.

Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans has been a thorn in Charlotte Flair’s side for weeks – the next phase of their rivalry should take place inside the Elimination Chamber. This feud has been one of the strangest in WWE this year. It went up a notch when Ric Flair became Evans’ manager, and they began to cost Charlotte matches.

With both women locked inside the Chamber – that keeps Ric out, so Charlotte can attempt to exact some revenge Evans or the “Sassy Southern Belle” could gain one of the biggest wins of her career by pinning her adversary.

Evans and Charlotte will probably wrestle each other in a singles match at either WWE Fastlane or WrestleMania. They are scheduled to meet “face-to-face” on Raw this week. The two combatants being locked inside the Chamber is a logical way to bridge the gap until those events come around.

“The Nature Boy” has vowed to lead Evans to the top of the mountain on Monday nights. The first step to fulfilling that proficiency is Evans being in this match and having a good showing – she needs to defeat Charlotte to begin her ascension to the top of the red brand’s women’s division.

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley has outgrown NXT, she is more than ready for the main roster, what better way to make her official main roster debut than winning the Elimination Chamber. “The Nightmare” had a brilliant Royal Rumble – she threw seven women over the top rope, the most in the match, and was the runner up.

WWE needs to build on that by having the former NXT Women’s Champion be the last woman standing and face Asuka at WrestleMania 37. The veteran does not have many credible opponents for the biggest show of the year – Ripley would be perfect for that spot.

When the Australian lost the top female title on the black and gold brand to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania last year – several members of the WWE Universe were scratching their heads but Triple H claimed that setback did not change Ripley’s “path to greatness”.

After a spell in the wilderness in NXT – Ripley has re-emerged with a point to prove. Her path to greatness begins inside the Chamber and ends with a new Raw Women’s Champion at the Show of Shows.
