WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 Full Match Card And Result Predictions
By Mark Justice
WWE Elimination Chamber 2021! Clearly, the WWE has already kickstarted its road to WrestleMania. Elimination Chamber is the pivotal roadblock to Mania that could change who the champions are and what the potential matchups could be at Mania. The following will provide full match card and result predictions for all of the officially announced matches. The WWE has officially announced three Raw matches and one SmackDown match for the PPV.
According to WWE’s official website, the three official WWE Raw matches are: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. MITB The Miz for the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber, Asuka (c) vs. Lacey Evans for the Raw Women’s Championship, and Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Riddle vs. Keith Lee for the United States Championship. There might be two more matches added from Raw’s go-home show this week.
According to WWE’s official website, the only official WWE SmackDown match is: Daniel Bryan vs. Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens vs. Jey Uso vs. King Corbin vs. Sami Zayn for the Universal Championship Number One Contender’s Spot inside the Elimination Chamber. The winner of that match will move on to battle Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship on the same night. There might be two more matches added from SmackDown’s go-home show this week.
With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict the matches and storylines that will occur at Elimination Chamber. The following will make some key presumptions about how the storylines will be built as well as how they will end. To kick things off, let’s predict any matches that could be added to the card before addressing the winners of the official matches. There are four possible matches that could be added to the card on go-home show week.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 is scheduled to take place on February 21, 2021, live on the WWE Network. Here are some predictions for the show.
The two possible matches that could be added from Raw’s go-home show this week are: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax (c) vs. Naomi and Lana for the Women’s Tag Team Championships and Mustafa Ali vs. Kofi Kingston. Baszler and Jax recently interacted with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair on WWE SmackDown, which is a sign that Baszler and Jax will retain their titles against Naomi and Lana before feuding with Banks and Belair.
Meanwhile, Ali and Kingston have Elimination Chamber history to fall back on that would make their match on this PPV suitable. Since Kingston replaced Ali in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match in 2019, Ali wants his full fledged revenge and there’s no better PPV to get that revenge than the Elimination Chamber PPV. It would make sense for Ali to defeat Kingston here before The New Day gets their babyface comeuppance at WrestleMania.
The two possible matches that could be added from SmackDown’s go-home show this week are: Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship and Dirty Dawgs (c) vs. Street Profits for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Apollo Crews has been a thorn on Big E’s side for weeks on end and will not stop until he gets his one on one championship rematch. Since their feud began, they have not fought on PPV, so they can end it here with a Big E retention.
Meanwhile, Ziggler and Roode have been keeping the SmackDown Tag Team Titles hostage because they have not defended those titles since they dethroned the Street Profits. Unlike Mysterios and Otis and Gable, Street Profits is the only babyface team with the momentum to substantiate a title opportunity, so a title rematch at this PPV would be sensible. Since their feud began, they have not fought on PPV, so they can end it here with a Dirty Dawgs retention.
