Since she’s debuted on the main roster back in 2019, Lacey Evans has created a massive impact on the women’s division.

Strong in the ring, fantastic on the mic, and oozes character confidence; it’s clear that Lacey deserves a championship opportunity and title reign, at some point.

With that said, could “some point” be Sunday, February 22nd? As much as I love Asuka, as we skip along the Road to WrestleMania, it’s hard not to think that there’s a good chance that Evans could dethrone the Empress at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV).

Lacey’s is part of an interesting storyline right now. There’s plenty of animosity between her and Charlotte Flair. Who knew adding The Nature Boy into the mix of things would not only add some light comedic elements to promos, but also create a good layer of “making it personal” between these two ladies. From using Ric’s robes, which were once exclusively available to his daughter, to shoving their new-found affection for each other in Charlotte’s face, the story between these three keeps getting more interesting by the minute.

With the “Dirtiest Player in the Game” in Lacey Evans’ corner at the Elimination Chamber, there’s a very good chance Evans could win the RAW Women’s Championship, for a multitude of reasons. Not only does she deserve a title run (it’s about time), but one can’t ignore the fact that she and Charlotte Flair have an incredible rivalry right now that has been building up slowly, but nicely. Evans’ defeating Asuka at Chamber, with the help of Ric Flair, means that Charlotte could challenge Lacey for the RAW Women’s Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Especially if Charlotte is in Asuka’s corner during the match; especially if Naitch does something against Charlotte to secure Lacey’s win against Asuka.

Lacey gets her first taste of WWE gold, heads on the Road to WrestleMania as RAW Women’s Champion and fuel is placed on the fire around Ric Flair. One may even add an element of Charlotte’s need to avenge Asuka’s loss. Not to mention the fact that added buildup could come in the form of the comparison to Charlotte that Evans received when she first entered the main roster. In addition, these women have never been in the ring together, a WM-worthy match in itself, plus, fans would speculate on whether or not Ric could be a factor in their bout. Would he really turn on his daughter to help Evans when push came to shove? This isn’t some RAW match, this is WrestleMania. Could Ric really ruin Charlotte’s chance of becoming a 13-time women’s champion (11th if you don’t count her NXT runs)?

Although, there is always a chance that Charlotte is a negative factor in Lacey’s title match, and Evans loses her Elimination Chamber match. Not only could Flair possibly railroad her dad in the process, but costing Evans her much-longed-for RAW Women’s Title. This too, would be enough to set up a WrestleMania 37 bout that could pit Evans versus Flair, and the massive anchor would not only be Ric, but Evans revenge on Charlotte for her Elimination Chamber match.

Only time will tell …
