Former IWGP tag team champions are heading over to the Impact Zone this week.

The collective wrestling world continues to find ways to work together as news broke Saturday of a popular New Japan Pro Wrestling team heading to Impact Wrestling. David Finlay and Juice Robinson, collectively known as FinnJuice, will be in the Impact Zone on Tuesday.

Multiple wrestling outlets reported the news which was shortly confirmed via both New Japan and Impact taking to social media to announce the move. Impact and New Japan worked together in the past, but the situation has not always been pleasant as past booking decisions and disputes over television deals caused strife between the two organizations. Seeing the announcement that FinnJuice is heading over to Impact shows that there is an opportunity for the relationship to improve.

Finlay and Robinson join a developing movement of major organizations working together. All Elite Wrestling and Impact have been working together as of late, starting with the Kenny Omega and Don Callis angle. Along with that, the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator tournament features women from AEW, NWA, and multiple Japanese based promotions.

Finlay and Robinson are two multiple-time champions making the move over to Impact. Together they held the IWGP tag team titles for slightly less than a month, and both have experienced holding singles titles. Robinson is a two-time IWGP United States champion while Finlay also obtained the NEVER Openweight six-man titles.

There is no word on how FinnJuice will factor into the next episode of Impact, but fans should be excited as this partnership between Impact and New Japan continues to bloom, along with the developing angles with All Elite Wrestling.
