Taya Valkyrie is the newest name to join the NXT women’s division.

WWE continues to add to its roster as they picked up a big name in women’s wrestling. A report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider revealed that Taya Valkyrie is the newest individual to make the move to the WWE. According to the report, she will join the NXT brand and will be announced alongside the newest set of signees.

Valkyrie was a longstanding member of Impact Wrestling. As a part of that promotion, she was best known for her run as the Impact Knockouts Champion, a reign that lasted 377 total days. She was a part of Impact since 2017, but that was not the only promotion where she found success. She is also a multiple-time champion in AAA, including her current and third time as the Reina de Reinas title.

Valkyrie’s last match in Impact was back at Hard to Kill where she was defeated by former member of WWE, Deonna Purrazzo. Valkyrie’s resume within Impact includes victories over some of the biggest names in the promotion, such as Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne, Jordynne Grace, and others.
