Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton [Firefly Funhouse Cinematic Match]

Much like the tag team match with Bad Bunny, this match is reportedly scheduled to occur at this year’s WrestleMania. Thanks to the pandemic, the WWE has embraced cinematic matches for their “Big 5” pay-per-views. These matches are less focused on “workrate” in favor of a movie-like narrative structure. The genius of storytelling, Bray Wyatt, will evidently defeat Randy Orton in his convoluted Firefly Funhouse Match as revenge for burning the Fiend to a crisp at TLC last year.

Fans should expect to see Wyatt call back to his WrestleMania 33 loss to Randy Orton four years ago. Although the WWE Championship won’t be involved in this match like it was then, it is worth noting that Wyatt will want to rewrite his story and redeem his credibility from what was a very short title reign, especially since it was his first. He did the same with Cena at last year’s WrestleMania to rewrite his story from his WrestleMania XXX loss. Consequently, Wyatt will undoubtedly come away victorious.

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Brock Lesnar [WWE Championship]

Bobby Lashley has been teasing a match with Brock Lesnar ever since he returned to the WWE due to their similar MMA backgrounds. Assuming Bobby Lashley dethrones The Miz for the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match that also includes Drew McIntyre at WWE Fastlane 2021, Lashley can call out Brock Lesnar and summon him for a dream match in the making. Lesnar has not received his rematch for the WWE Title since he lost it to McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 and would have to chase Lashley this time.

Many fans would probably want McIntyre to battle Lashley for the WWE Title at Mania and win the title for the third time, this time in front of actual fans. However, as mentioned earlier, he can win the tag titles with Sheamus as a consolation prize and still get a huge pop. Although Lashley has the tools to beat Lesnar, he won’t be as lucky as McIntyre. This will be Lesnar’s first match back and there is “no chance in hell” that he loses at Mania for the second straight year. The Hurt Business will lose all the gold at Mania.
