The Road to WrestleMania 37 is in full effect, even with tickets on sale next week, but WWE Fastlane 2021 is the last stop before we arrive at Raymond James Stadium for the event WWE initially planned to have last year.

With WrestleMania so close, the matches at WWE Fastlane 2021 are sure to have direct implications on WWE’s biggest event of the year. The few that are already confirmed are likely to determine who walks into Tampa as a champion.

WWE Fastlane 2021 is just one week from Sunday, but what matches are announced and how else might the card come together?

Looking back at past versions of the event, which started in 2015 and has continued every year since except for 2020, WWE Fastlane has traditionally had between six and nine main card matches, as well as almost always having a single match during the Kickoff Show.

WWE hasn’t been shy about having shorter events as of late, as Elimination Chamber 2021 had just six announced matches, though two took place inside the Elimination Chamber.

With this full match card, things round out with a total of eight matches, one being on the Kickoff Show. However, one of these could go long, which will become clear once you see it.

WWE Fastlane 2021 Kickoff Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Hurt Business

To start with the WWE Fastlane Kickoff Show, we’ve got The New Day who I’m predicting will win the Raw Tag Team Titles this Monday on WWE Raw when they challenge The Hurt Business. Of course, MVP will make sure Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander get their rematch, setting up this clash at WWE Fastlane.

United States Championship Match: Riddle (c) vs. Mustafa Ali

We’ve also got this match scheduled for this coming Monday on WWE Raw, but WWE isn’t afraid to hit snooze on rivalries to extend into a pay-per-view. Likely due to some interference by RETRIBUTION, things could easily see a wonky finish and setup this match for WWE Fastlane.
