WWE Fastlane 2021 will take place on Sunday night, and we already have a handful of matches announced for the show. There will probably only be a few more matches added, so I’m expecting about eight matches in total, similar to the last true “B” PPV, which was Clash of Champions in the Fall of 2020.

Here are predictions for each of the official matches, as well as predictions for which matches could be added to the card.

Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are still, in my estimation, best friends, considering McIntyre avoided using the past tense when referring to their close friendship on the most recent episode of Raw. So there’s hope that one big match between them at Fastlane will lead to a highly-anticipated tag team run.

I can’t see any way Sheamus wins this match. The funny thing is, I’m actually more impressed with Sheamus in 2021 than McIntyre, because Sheamus is finding new ways to more than just stay relevant; he’s reaching new heights. But McIntyre is one of the top babyfaces in WWE for a reason. What he has done over the past year is nothing short of remarkable. He is a building block on Monday nights and will win this match after being pushed to his limit. You know these two are going to do whatever they possibly can to steal the show.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre
