WWE Fastlane 2021 Final Match Card Predictions For The PPV
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship
The Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan is undoubtedly the most highly-anticipated match of the night. Bryan and Reigns have crossed paths before, but now that Bryan is a face and Reigns is a heel, we truly have the dream match of dream matches set to take place at Fastlane on Sunday.
Bryan’s current run is exceptionally good, as his promo and in-ring work stand toe-to-toe with anything we’ve seen from him during his career. I understand this is high praise, considering the impactful runs he had before WrestleMania 35 and 30, but I fully believe this to be true, based on the barbs he’s thrown at Roman and the matches he’s had with the likes of Jey and AJ Styles since returning to WWE late last year.
Reigns is 99 percent retaining on the road to WrestleMania, so this match will be about sheer entertainment value. Both men will want to put together a match that can stand as an all-time classic. Bryan leaves it all in the ring every time he is out there, and Roman is no different. And with his career winding down, Bryan is more motivated than ever to hit the gas pedal. As for Roman, this current run is all about establishing himself as the greatest performer in WWE history. That’s his mission, and so knocking this one out of the park with a generational in-ring performer in Bryan will be crucial.
In case you can’t tell, I am beyond hyped for this one!
Prediction: Roman Reigns
