WWE: Sarray joins NXT women’s division

The NXT women’s division continues to burst at the seams with talent. Sarray, formerly known as Sareee is heading to the promotion and is expected to be a big talent for the already-deep NXT women’s division.

During a brief video promo on Wednesday, Sarray was introduced to NXT viewers, as it was announced that she is signed with the company and coming to the black and yellow brand. “The Warrior of the Sun,” as she was called during the promo, was billed as the next big talent along the likes of Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Toni Storm, and Kairi Sane.

At 24-years of age, Sarray comes into this portion of her career with nearly a decade of in-ring experience. Throughout that time, she has competed for some of the most important women’s organizations in Japanese professional wrestling. She is a multiple-time champion, including holding the JWP Junior Championship, Princess of Pro Wrestling Championship, and the Seadlinnng Beyond the Sea Tag Team titles. Her last match was back in January where she and Yoshiko dropped those tag belts.

Women’s professional wrestling continues to excel as the ladies push further and further into the main event scene. Sarray is a strong addition to the women’s NXT division, and fans should be interested in what she brings to the table when she debuts for the WWE.
