WWE Raw Predictions: Rhea Ripley Will Make Charlotte Her Nightmare

2.) Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair [Raw Women’s Title #1C Match]

The WWE announced that Rhea Ripley will debut on this episode. Rhea Ripley should debut on the main roster in a match against Charlotte Flair in a Raw Women’s Championship Number One Contendership match to determine who will battle Asuka at WrestleMania 37. Ripley was robbed of the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 and needs a definitive victory over “The Queen” to redeem her momentum.

She’s already restored some of that momentum by eliminating Flair in the Royal Rumble match this past January. However, that elimination was not as impactful since she received help from Bianca Belair to do so and did not win the Rumble afterward. However, expect WWE to probably book a non-finish to protect Charlotte and set up a triple threat match for the Raw Women’s Championship, in which both Asuka and Ripley can seek their Mania revenge against Charlotte.

1.) Drew McIntyre vs. Cedric Alexander or Shelton Benjamin (w/MVP) [Grudge Match]

On last week’s WWE Raw, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin lost their Raw Tag Team Championships to The New Day. Now, they are free to job to Drew McIntyre before Drew McIntyre wins back the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 37. Assuming McIntyre defeats Sheamus at WWE FastLane 2021, he will go on to defeat Alexander and Benjamin on the next two weeks of WWE Raw to make a statement to Lashley before their big title match.

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship is indeed a rematch from WWE BackLash 2020, where McIntyre retained the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley. Since Lashley was the main reason McIntyre lost the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber, McIntyre will seek his revenge and win back the WWE Championship in front of fans for the moment he did not receive at last year’s WrestleMania.
