WWE WrestleMania 37! According to WWE’s official website, eight matches have already been made official for this event: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge for the Universal Championship, Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton, Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon, Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Asuka (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women’s Championship, Bad Bunny vs. The Miz, and The New Day vs. AJ Styles & Omos for the Raw Tag Team Championships.

WWE has a long-term booking issue, but there are other feuds in the works that would be fitting for this year’s WrestleMania card and booked at the last minute. With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict five other matches that will be made official and added to the WrestleMania 37 card. The following predictions will make some key presumptions about how the storylines will be built and how they will end. To kick things off, let’s predict the future of the infinitesimal SmackDown tag team division.

WWE WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place on April 10 and April 11, 2021, live on the WWE Network via Peacock. Here are 5 matches that will be added.

5.) Dirty Dawgs (c) vs. Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Mysterios [SmackDown Tag Team Championships]

On the January 8, 2021 episode of WWE SmackDown, Dirty Dawgs ended the Street Profits’ 10-month tag title reign. Ever since that day, they have not defended the SmackDown Tag Team Championships and have been jobbing to all of the tag teams in the tag team division. Henceforth, it would unfortunately make sense for Dirty Dawgs to defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 37 against all of the tag teams in the tag division: Street Profits, Alpha Academy, and Mysterios.

As can be substantiated by their egregious booking as champions, Dirty Dawgs will definitely lose the titles. Since Street Profits already had a lengthy reign with the tag titles and one half of Alpha Academy already teased his way out the door of WWE, Mysterios would be the ideal babyface team to dethrone the heel champions in this title match. They will probably have a short reign and immediately lose the titles to Usos on the SmackDown after WrestleMania, but the idea of a father and son winning the tag titles would be a heartfelt WrestleMania moment for the live fans.

Prediction: Mysterios

4.) Riddle (c) vs. Sheamus [United States Championship]

On last week’s episode of WWE Raw, Sheamus lost to Bobby Lashley and had an interview backstage that was interrupted by United States Champion Riddle. Riddle interrupted this interview by riding in his scooter. Sheamus was frustrated with Riddle’s interruption and jammed the scooter in Riddle’s abdomen. This is a strong sign that Riddle will defend the United States Championship against Sheamus at WrestleMania 37, where Sheamus can attain his consolation prize for losing constantly in the main event scene against McIntyre and Lashley.

Prediction: Sheamus

3.) Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax (c) vs. Naomi & Lana vs. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke vs. Natalya & Tamina [Women’s Tag Team Championships]

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax have been interacting with these three teams in recent weeks. Since there is no clear number one contender for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, it would make sense for the WWE to just throw all of the teams in this match to give them spots on the card. There is really no credible threat to Baszler and Jax’s title reign. Unless a mystery tag team shows up and shocks the world (*cough* IIconics), Baszler and Jax will undoubtedly retain the titles because they have been booked as forces to be reckoned with since they won back the titles.

Prediction: Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax

2.) Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins [Grudge Match]

This match should be more obvious than the previous ones since the WWE has consistently built up this feud in recent weeks. When Seth Rollins returned to in-ring competition, his main rival has been Cesaro. Cesaro rudely interrupted his orations about his vision for WWE SmackDown and did not want to immerse in his vision. Seth Rollins feels that Cesaro has clearly lost sight of that vision and wants to knock some sense into him.

Both men have already built up their individual momentums by defeating their adversary’s allies. Cesaro defeated Buddy Murphy on SmackDown while Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura at FastLane. This match is built for Cesaro to earn a victory that will kickstart his main event push, a long overdue push that has been in high demand for so many years. Defeating a former world champion in Seth Rollins should propel him to that next step in his career.

Prediction: Cesaro

1.) Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. King Corbin vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn [Intercontinental Title: Ladder Match]

While it would make sense for the WWE to just book Big E vs. Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship for the billionth time at WrestleMania 37 due to their unfinished business from FastLane, there are other mid carders who were briefly involved in their feud that would be fitting to add for a IC Title Ladder Match. Those other mid carders are: Shinsuke Nakamura, King Corbin, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn.

dark. Next. WWE WrestleMania 37: The Main Event Changed

The WWE needs to find a way to take the Intercontinental Championship away from Big E without making him look weak so that he can make his way to the main event scene after WrestleMania 37. A ladder match would be the perfect way to do this. Kevin Owens would be the ideal winner of this match since he needs a consolation prize after losing multiple times to Roman Reigns and winning the IC Title would be a great way to get under Sami Zayn’s skin too.

Prediction: Kevin Owens
