WWE WrestleMania 37: Predicting the winner of every announced match
Night Two – Intercontinental Championship Match: Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews
Despite some of the repetitive booking it’s been built upon, Big E and Apollo Crews is poised to be one of the most exciting parts of WrestleMania 37. Apollo Crews is full bore in his new character, and it’s made this rivalry one of the most compelling parts of SmackDown.
Whether you’ve enjoyed the build or not, Big E and Apollo Crews are going to do everything they can to capitalize on the opportunity they’re being given here. This should be a fantastic clash, and one where Crews should finally capture the title after several failed attempts.
Prediction: Apollo Crews is the new Intercontinental Champion
Night Two – Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
There are few matches as highly anticipated as Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn, and that’s got nothing to do with what WWE has done to build this rivalry in recent weeks. No, this is a match that’s years in the making, and no amount of failed storytelling on SmackDown could prevent it from being an instant classic.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are two of the best storytellers in professional wrestling, and whether they’re given five minutes or fifty, they’re going to thrive with every last drop of air-time they can squeeze from WrestleMania 37. This is the one time I’m cheating, because it doesn’t matter who wins.
Prediction: Everyone watching this match wins
