Every WWE WrestleMania season, I start to feel the buzz at a slightly different time in the calendar, depending on the build and outside factors in my own life. But at some point, I get this unmistakable feeling, a little tinge of excitement, and I can’t stop thinking about the matches and my favorite performers.

This year’s build to WrestleMania was a little bit slower when it came to some of the matches, but the biggest bouts feel like they will be absolutely special. Whether it’s the Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks main event that has been locked in since January or the Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre rematch set in motion at the Elimination Chamber, there are some truly marquee matchups on the card this year.

I’d like to share with you the seven matches I consider “can’t miss”, either because of the quality of the match or because of the match’s importance. In most cases, both apply. And I hope by doing this, I can remind a few readers of the magic of WrestleMania, since we can sometimes lose that spark in an increasing sea of social media negativity.

Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair

Look, I can’t lie, this is the match I am the most excited for, and instead of waiting it out, I want to start with the headliner. This is the biggest match of the weekend, and I envision it being an all-time classic. Sasha Banks is one of the best wrestlers on the planet, and as we saw at Hell in a Cell last year (or the year before that!), she leaves it all on the line in the biggest matches.

Bianca Belair is this WrestleMania season’s big breakout star, just as Drew McIntyre was last year as the Royal Rumble winner. I’ve detailed Belair’s rise in WWE, and I know she can be the next big babyface in this company. Her place at the top should become entrenched this weekend as Night 1’s main event.
