NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver: Night Two Results: Kyle O’Reilly defeated Adam Cole
NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver kicked off with a massive night one that featured Raquel Gonzalez defeating Io Shirai to become the new NXT women’s champion. The action did not stop there, and it now bleeds over into night two, where more titles are on the line, with additional matches before the night was over. NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver has already done that heading into WrestleMania, and the second night of action was added sauce on top.
The night started with tag team action on the preshow. Breezango stood against Killian Dain and Drake Maverick, with the winners earning a shot at the NXT tag team titles.
Breezango came out playing games early and neither Dain nor Maverick were there for the games. Fandango tried to take advantage of the distraction, but Dain beat him into the ground before tagging in Maverick. Breeze and Fandango were able to remain in control over Maverick, isolating him on their side of the ring.
Maverick was in trouble until he found a way to tag in Dain, who took over battering both of their opponents, landing a Uranage and slingshot senton onto Fandango. Dain was about to put Fandango away, but Breeze made the save and kept the match alive. Maverick landed some big moves of his own, but Dain thought it would be better to powerbomb Maverick onto Fandango to pick up the win, giving this team a shot at the tag titles against MSK.
Killian Dain and Drake Maverick defeated Breezango via pinfall.
The first night of the evening was a ladder match to determine the NXT Cruiserweight champion between Jordan Devlin and Santos Escobar.
The match started out with both men brawling, until Devlin dropped Escobar with a nasty elbow. Escobar fought back, but neither man could contain the momentum for extended periods of time. That was until they were outside the ring and Devlin landed a big moonsault onto Escobar in front of the announce table. He would use that moment to introduce the first ladder into the match.
Devlin brought the ladder into the ring, but it was quickly used against him but Escobar, including a slingshot into the ladder that caused him to fly over the top rope. Escobar brought out his own ladder, propping it up outside the ring, against the barricade. It would not be long before Escobar would eat the ladder as well after Devlin turned the tables back in the ring.
The next big moment came when Devlin hit a massive moonsault from the top of the ladder, landing firmly on Escobar. Devlin was close to obtaining the titles, but the rest of Legado del Fantasma hit the ring to make sure he did not do so. Escobar was nearly to the titles, until Devlin threw a ladder at him to stop his ascent.
Both men reached the top of the ladder, and it was a big headbutt from Escobar that knocked Devlin from the top, and through a table at the ground. Escobar would unhook the titles and claim the unified title for the win.
Santos Escobar defeated Jordan Devlin in a ladder match to unify the NXT cruiserweight titles.
The women’s tag team titles were up next, as The Way challenged Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon.
Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae attack right at the start of the match, leaving all four women to brawl from the onset. That allowed The Way to take control of the start of the match. Blackheart was isolated on their side of the ring, leaving her to take an extensive beating. She would finally get to Moon to make the tag. Moon took over but a distraction by Hartwell kept LeRae from taking the Eclipse.

Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart defeated the Way to retain the NXT tag team titles.
Bronson Reed won a shot at the NXT North American title on night one and his match against Johnny Gargano for that belt was next.
Reed cornered the smaller Gargano early, but Gargano’s speed came into play. Still, Reed’s power set the tone in the match. Gargano was able to chip away at the bigger man, knocking him down after a dropkick. Gargano continued to punish Reed while avoiding taking damage. All of that halted after Reed landing a massive powerslam, catching Gargano coming off the top rope.
Reed continued to come close to putting the champion away, but Gargano kicked out multiple times. He hit a backstabber on Reed but was not able to pick up the victory. Reed planted Gargano with a big suplex but was countered into a pinfall. Gargano locked in the Gargano Escape, but Reed made it to the title to break the hold. Reed missed the Tsunami and took a superkick to the side of the head, but Reed kicked out of the pin attempt.
Reed went back to the top, but Austin Theory caused a distraction to give Gargano the space to counter. Reed countered with his own powerbomb but did not get the victory when Theory put Gargano’s foot on the rope. Gargano was finally able to catch Reed with the One Final Beat, but he needed to hit the move twice on Reed to keep the man down and retain his title.

The NXT title was on the line in the co-main event. Finn Balor against the former, but never defeated champion, Karrion Kross.
The two men lock up and Kross immediately shows he is the stronger man. Kross mocked Balor after his few spurts of offense before he tossed the champion across the ring. Balor slapped Kross while laughing at him, setting Kross off on a rampage. Balor was able to ground the bigger man, focusing on his shoulder. It would not take long before Kross was back in control, throwing Balor around and tying him up in the corner. Balor focused on Kross’s arm, slowing him down in the process.
Kross and Balor continued to exchange offense, with Kross focusing on big power moves and Balor attacking his joints. Balor was rolling but when he went for the shotgun dropkick, he would eat a big clothesline. That led into the Doomsday Suplex. Balor countered, landing two dropkicks into Kross and went to the top for the Double Foot Stomp. It hit, but Kross kicked out of the pinfall, countering it into a rear naked choke.
Kross ended up on top of the champion, hammering him with elbows, before landing another Doomsday Suplex. Kross landed the elbow into the back of Balor’s neck, and set up for a second, knocking Balor out and pinning him to win the title.
Karrion Kross defeated Finn Balor to win the NXT championship.
Both men ran out of the corner, exchanging blows back and forth. It did not take long before they fell outside the ring, brawling on the floor. Cole pushed O’Reilly from the top and he crashed onto the floor, holding his neck. Cole would thing bring out the chairs to work over his former stable mate.
Cole focused on O’Reilly’s neck for majority of the early set of the match. But O’Reilly fought through, putting Cole into a chair, and leading into an ankle lock. He would even punch the steel chair right into Cole’s face. They would eventually introduce a chain and both men would punish the other with-it multiple times.
Cole attempted to use the stairs on O’Reilly once again, but O’Reilly countered, nearly choking Cole to sleep. He would drop Cole with a nasty brain buster on the announce table, even though the table did not break. The violence continued as Cole even introduced a toolbox with a variety of weapons. O’Reilly had a triangle locked in that Cole broke up with the tire iron, hitting him in the ribs.
Cole was about to finish off O’Reilly, but he laid out the referee in frustration. He hit the Panama Sunrise, but the referee was out cold and could not make the call. They ended up outside the ring, bouncing each other off the barricade resulting in them both on the ground. O’Reilly locked in a standing choke, but Cole’s dove forward, putting them both through the ramp. Cole once again used the steps, hitting a brain buster in the steps. He rolled O’Reilly back into the ring, but O’Reilly kicked out of the pin.
Both men continued to pull out all the stops. O’Reilly went to the top rope, but Cole hit him with another chair shot. The finish came with O’Reilly landing a knee to the back of Cole’s head as he was face down on a chair. Bringing the match to a close.
