Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn first debuted in the wrestling business as El Generico and Kevin Steen in Ring of Honor on 17th February in 2007 in a losing effort to The Briscoe Brothers. The journey of two wrestling experts began on this day and continued with their paths crossing multiple times, before ending up in NXT together. Kevin Owens turned on his friend and started a rivalry that helped them elevate the NXT championship to greater heights. Their first match as a team on the 16th May 2016 episode of Monday Night Raw turned them into a winning duo on their inaugural night.

It wasn’t long before these friends turned frenemies, and they have fought with each other on multiple occasions. The storyline involving these two has been entertaining at all times. They have even taken on the tag team of the Commissioner and General Manager of SmackDown at WrestleMania. The match was the first one since Daniel Bryan returned from an injury and decided to take on these two talented superstars in the ring with an assist from the man who fears nothing. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are again a part of a storyline, and one would have to see how these two make the storyline flourish.

It’s no secret that the two can deliver at any time because they are good on the mic and in between the ropes. The two have a long history between them that goes way beyond the boundaries of the wrestling juggernaut, but will it ever be as successful as the storyline involving John Cena and Randy Orton or the feud between the members of the team, Rated RKO. While they are still fresh with the company, and there is a long journey ahead of them, one cannot deny that the duo delivers every time without fail.

Kevin Owens looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin from the Attitude Era who doesn’t take a no or a wrong thing kindly, and now with the signature move of Stone Cold Stunner in his arsenal, The Prizefighter looks effortless as ever. Sami Zayn can deliver a promo to a million people at once while keeping them all involved, just like The People’s Champ, The Rock.

One needs to look at his segment where he used the word AEW, and it got the fans excited and involved at the moment. There is nothing that one cannot praise about these talented individuals who know a thing or two about entertaining fans with their gift of gab and their moves between the ropes. It is only a matter of time before fans get involved in the storylines involving Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a much detailed manner, and the two become the biggest ticket sellers for the WWE.
