Although not part of the show, Seth Rollins made his presence felt after the main event leaving many wondering what is the next for the Messiah?

If you look past the zombies, Wrestlemania Backlash was actually a pretty good show with a couple of great matches. Cesaro and Roman Reigns had an awesome match in the main event of the show, however, the most interesting angle coming out of the event revolved around someone not even on the show in Seth Rollins.

Rollins came out following the main event as Jey Uso was attacking Cesaro and appeared as if he was going to confront Roman Reigns. The two former members of the Shield shared a brief but intense stare-down, leaving many speculating what that might mean for the Universal Championship moving forwards.

This brief moment was all we saw between Rollins and the tribal chief as he quickly turned his attention to Cesaro and attacked him. The show ended with Seth Rollins standing tall in the middle of the ring seemingly indicating that he could be next in line for the Universal Championship.

WWE announced last night that Hell in a Cell would be returning next month on June 20th. Could we see the rivalry between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns reignited by then and a match inside the cell? Maybe, but it seems like there is another chapter in the story of Rollins and Cesaro.

A Hell in a Cell match between Rollins and Cesaro would be a great way to culminate their ongoing feud on Smackdown this year. This has Match of the Year potential and addresses the recent criticism by Chris Jericho on how WWE books Hell in a Cell as the match certainly fits the story rather than the other way around.

A defiant win from Seth Rollins would surely cement him as the next challenger for Roman Reigns. The two have shown great chemistry in the ring and have a real history together that should translate to one of the biggest feuds of the year.  After last night, many are speculating that this match will take place at SummerSlam based on the colors of the suit Seth was wearing.  As the WWE continues to look for a host for SummerSlam 2021 with a full capacity crowd, this match would be a phenomenal main event for the biggest show of the summer.
