In her two stints in NXT, Ember Moon has accomplished a great deal. Between her two classics against Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Orlando and NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, winning the NXT Women’s Championship at the first TakeOver: Wargames show, and becoming the first woman to win the women’s singles and tag team NXT titles, Moon has established herself as a key lynchpin in a women’s division that is focused on introducing some fresh talent.

Still, Moon has plenty that she wants to achieve on the black-and-gold brand.

Ember Moon talks about wanting to become the first women’s double-champion in NXT

Moon took part in the NXT TakeOver: In Your House global press conference and discussed his aspirations to hold the NXT Women’s and Women’s Tag Team Championships at the same time (h/t to Fightful’s Gisberto Guzzo for the transcription):

"“First and foremost, I just want to say that I’m not looking past [NXT Women’s Champion] Raquel [Gonzalez] right now. My first goal is to win the NXT Women’s Championship. When Shotzi’s [Blackheart] better, of course, we’re going to go after those tag titles because mama’s hungry for some gold. I told you that before and I’ll tell you that again. I’m here to make history, and I want to be the first woman that has the NXT Women’s Championship around my waist and also the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship around my waist. That’s what we do.”"

At In Your House, Moon will challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Title in a match that’s built around Moon seeking revenge for Gonzalez taking out her tag team partner, Shotzi Blackheart.

Next. WWE: It’s time we stopped looking at them as a wrestling promotion. dark

Whenever Blackheart returns, she and Moon will likely pursue current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell, the team that beat them to become champions.
