WWE Raw Predictions: Becky Lynch Will Return To Win MITB

WWE Raw will very likely remind the fans why they should not care about Money In The Bank (MITB). However, there is a light at the end of this tunnel because there have been circulating rumors of a Becky Lynch return after it was reported that she was seen training at the WWE Performance Center.

On this week’s WWE Raw, there are neither scheduled matches nor scheduled segments. This is usually the case for an episode after a PPV, which so happens to be WWE Hell in a Cell 2021. However, this episode will kickstart the road to WWE MITB 2021 in July.

WWE is four weeks away from WWE MITB 2021. There are no matches scheduled yet, but it is expected that there will be Men’s and Women’s MITB Ladder Matches. On Raw’s end, there are also some ongoing title feuds that could eventually be added to the card: Sheamus (c) vs. Ricochet vs. Humberto Carillo for the U.S. Title, AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs. Viking Raiders for the Raw Tag Titles, and Natalya & Tamina (c) vs. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke for the Women’s Tag Titles. As for the world title matches, those will be highly dependent on who walks out the champion at HIAC.

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict what will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on the USA Network. Here is a major prediction for this week’s show.

On the May 11, 2020, episode of WWE Raw, Becky Lynch announced that she was pregnant and had to relinquish the Raw Women’s Championship. She handed the championship over to then-MITB holder Asuka as a symbol of respect for being her most challenging opponent during her title reign. Ever since that passing of the torch, the Raw Women’s Division has not been the same without Becky Lynch and the fans have been clamoring for her return since the moment she left. Now that rumors have been circulating about her return, it will soon be time for her to take over. But how?

Since the fans are coming back for WWE MITB 2021 and Becky Lynch did lose her championship to a MITB Briefcase holder, it would be sensible for her to win the MITB contract this year and cash in to win back the Raw Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2021. Lynch has never won the MITB Contract, so this would be a career accolade for her that sets up her comeback story in the best way possible. She is also the ideal superstar this year to maintain the prestige of the Women’s MITB Briefcase while delivering a memorable cash-in thereafter.
