Allow me to take you back to the May 11, 2020 edition of Monday Night Raw. It kicked off with The Man, Becky Lynch and It seemed as though it was business as usual. You know, a typical Monday Night Raw on a typical Monday night.

However, as Lynch proceeds to speak, something seems different. She sounds like she’s fighting back tears in her speech. She’s isn’t accusing anyone of being a weirdo or giving anyone a verbal beatdown on the mic like The Man has been known to do in the past.

In fact, Lynch doesn’t sound like The Man at all right now. She sounds more like she’s addressing the WWE Universe as Rebecca Quin, instead. She brings up her start in WWE, confesses she didn’t know if she was even good enough to be in the company, and acknowledges the fans for always supporting her through thick and thin. Then she announces that she’s going to have to go away for a while and she starts to break down.

Immediately after that, Asuka approaches the ring and appears to be understandably angry. She’d just won Money in the Bank and that guaranteed her a WWE Women’s Championship match, after all.

Her anger quickly turned to joy when Lynch revealed that she didn’t just win Money in the Bank, but the title as well. After Asuka celebrated with her newly won Raw Women’s title, she got back in the ring to confront Lynch once more. That’s when Becky shockingly announced that she was pregnant.

The two superstars embraced one another and what started out sounding like an unfortunate and depressing farewell address from Becky Lynch to the WWE Universe turned out to be one big, monumentally massive-sized beautiful moment instead.

It hasn’t been announced when Lynch will make her return yet but when she does, there are certainly plenty of opponents she could and definitely should mix it up in the ring with.

Read on as I elaborate on 5 of them.
