WWE: Will Bianca Belair get lost in the shuffle?
Wow, It’s been quite a year for Bianca Belair. Since winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match, The EST of WWE has been on quite the roll.
After defeating Sasha Banks in that oh, so historic main event at WrestleMania 37, she’d go on to defend the title on several occasions, most notably defeating Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash and Hell in a Cell.
Her 132-day reign as Smackdown Women’s Champion was infamously ended by a returning Becky Lynch at SummerSlam via Manhandle Slam in 26 seconds.
Since then, The EST has been determined to win back what she once was able to claim was HER WWE Smackdown Women’s Title. Belair’s latest opportunity to reclaim the gold at Extreme Rules ended via DQ after a returning Sasha Banks got involved.
On the latest edition of Smackdown, it was announced that Belair had been drafted to Raw. On that same night, she took on Sasha Banks in a WrestleMania rematch. The two put on yet another great performance, but in the end, it was Banks who picked up the victory after a little help from Becky Lynch.
After the match, Charlotte Flair came from out of nowhere and attacked both Banks and Belair.
Not to be outdone by her longtime rival, Banks retaliated by showing up on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw and giving both Flair and Belair a beatdown.
So yeah, for better or for worse, It’s been quite the year for Bianca Belair.
As you’ve been watching this feud play out, you may have noticed that all three of Belair’s adversaries have something in common… and no, I’m not talking about the fact that they’re all members of The Four Horsewomen.
While that’s a great observation, I was actually referring to the fact they’ve all been around a lot longer.
They haven’t just been sitting back, sipping on sweet tea whilst chilling in the locker room all this time either. All three have earned the right to call themselves the very best.
So now, I guess it’s time to ask the question. Will Bianca Belair get lost in the shuffle?
No, probably not.
Becky Lynch wasn’t always The Man, if you recall. Even after winning the Smackdown Women’s title for the first time in 2016, there was a period of time that she was hardly seen on TV.
Sasha Banks went from being featured in the first-ever Women’s Hell in a Cell match to being featured on the pre-show of WrestleMania 34. But that was 2018, this is 2021 and it goes without saying that things changed drastically for The Boss.
Even If The EST does get lost for a sec, she’ll probably bounce back real quick.
