Alexa Bliss is a performer that has grown leaps and bounds since she joined WWE. Bliss came into the WWE without any prior experience in professional wrestling but has since been able to carve out a space as one of the most successful women on the roster in recent memory. Whether as a heel or a face, Bliss makes the most of her opportunities within the WWE, fitting the model of a sports entertainer in its truest form.

Fans may not be too excited about the recent edition of her character derived from that of The Fiend, but that doesn’t mean Bliss hasn’t done well with the situation presented to her. It’s a character that comes with baggage because of its link to the fan-favorite, Bray Wyatt, but it’s yet another example of where WWE struggles to maintain consistent and desirable storytelling.

Just as many other members of the WWE roster, Bliss has made the most of this situation. She’s translated this character into aspects of her ring work and delivery of her promos. Again, that doesn’t mean that this character is for everyone, but it says a lot about a performer taking the creative that is placed on them by the WWE and making it work for them in a way that fans can see some development in their abilities as a sports entertainer. Bliss has reached that point.

It is evident that Lexi has the skills of a champion, and if that doesn’t make you feel that way, let’s discuss some other aspects. When Bray Wyatt hinted about Sister Abigail character debut, everyone thought of one-half of the current Women’s tag team champions to be the person on the job, but it wasn’t. WWE knew the person who could play the character and elevate it with her skills. Alexa has done just that but isn’t this character not going well with the fans, you ask? Let’s take a look at that too.

Alexa started this character well, and it was in harmony with The Fiend. The Fiend was the alter ego of Bray Wyatt, just like this character is the alter ego of Alexa Bliss. Alexa started as The Fiend’s accomplice but eventually turned on him at WrestleMania. Bray Wyatt dropped hints about his release during the final firefly funhouse segment, and if the change didn’t happen, the character would have gone into oblivion. Bliss has worked well since it happened and even introduced Lilly to the world. While Lilly was an imaginary character like Little Jimmy, the character had its presence and importance.

The former women’s tag team champion issued her challenge to The Queen, which ended with Lilly’s dismantling. Lilly was one character that needed removal before Alexa could return to her originality. With Lilly out of the way, expect Alexa to return triumphant in executing another character to perfection. The big question remains why does she get so many roles? Alexa can pull off any with ease, while some others have worked as one character all their life.

Charlotte calls herself The Queen since she came on the main roster, as has been the case with all others. It proves that Alexa Bliss is versatile and a better performer than most women in the division. She didn’t have her father’s name to help her reach higher and get more opportunities. Alexa has worked her way up, and her dedication, commitment and approach towards the work make her the standard-bearer in the women’s division. May she get her rightful opportunities soon.
