The rosters of Raw and SmackDown received makeovers from the WWE Draft earlier this month and take effect after Crown Jewel on Oct. 21.

The biggest changes to the rosters are the two current champions to switch brands: the women’s champions. Becky Lynch is heading to Raw, and Charlotte Flair is on her way to SmackDown.

Following that, Bianca Belair is joining Becky on Raw, while Sasha Banks remains on the Blue Brand.

The Bianca-Becky feud is going to take center stage long-term. With Becky’s return and quick championship victory over Belair at SummerSlam, it became apparent that it was just the beginning of a rivalry. Also, with Becky moving to Monday nights, she will recapture the title she was forced to relinquish for maternity leave.

Meanwhile, on SmackDown, Charlotte and Sasha will pick up their storied past. They held the first seven Raw Women’s Championship reigns. However, the two of them have not feuded since 2017. They also faced each other in the first women’s Hell in a Cell match.

Speaking of Hell in a Cell, Seth Rollins and Edge were both drafted to Raw. While their rivalry might culminate with their Crown Jewel showdown, having them stay on the same show as each other allows for them to continue their feud.

The Rollins-Edge battles have been epic this year. Rollins has sparked Edge to turn into his dark side, and now that Rollins can bring back the Monday Night Messiah persona, this rivalry could reach new heights.

The Mysterios also made the jump from SmackDown to Raw. The former SmackDown Tag Team champions can elevate themselves into the discussion for the titles on Raw. It would be fun to see Rey and Dominik take on RK-Bro.

Rey and Randy Orton have a long-storied history that dates back to when Rey won his first world title at WrestleMania 22 in 2006. Riddle and Dominik would make for interesting opponents as they both are undersized high-fliers.

Over on SmackDown, the Universal Championship picture got a shake-up with Drew McIntyre getting drafted to the Blue Brand. McIntyre had run his course in WWE Title picture as he lost his last chance at the title against Bobby Lashley in July. So, McIntyre will be looking to get back into the discussion for another world title run.

As for the champ Roman Reigns, McIntyre could present a new challenge. Reigns dominated everyone on the SmackDown roster and have made his way through several legends: John Cena, Edge, and Daniel Bryan.

Reigns is renewing his rivalry with Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel. The two have faced each other with a world title on the line several times, including when Reigns ended Lesnar’s 500+ day title reign in 2018.

Throw McIntyre into the mix, and the Universal Title picture became a whole lot more interesting. Last year The Scottish Warrior eliminated The Beast from the Royal Rumble en route to winning the yearly match. He then defeated Lesnar for the WWE Title at WrestleMania to claim his first world title.

The draft is exactly what WWE needed to add some new flair to each show.
