WWE: Two superstars to watch out for after the WWE Draft goes into effect
“It’s a new day, yes it is!” While many of you may associate this popular phrase with The New Day, it’s also a great way to describe the careers of some of your favorite superstars the night after WWE Crown Jewel. Well, at least I hope that’s the case for Liv Morgan and Ridge Holland, anyway.
If I may quote the Chairman of the Board himself, the WWE draft has been utilized in the past to “shake things up” in the WWE.
It’s a way for talent to mix things up with new opponents for fresh matchups. It’s meant to give lesser-known talent a chance to break out and become a force to be reckoned with.
But more importantly, it’s a way to keep the folks in attendance and the people watching at home entertained.
If you haven’t been entertained by WWE’s efforts these past few years, I sincerely wish I could be of assistance to you.
Sadly, that’s not my job.
As a journalist, It’s my job to do either one of two things: inform or convince you that whatever I’m writing about is worth the time out of your busy schedule to read about.
So when I write something like Liv Morgan and Ridge Holland are 2 performers you simply can’t afford to sleep on, please trust that It’s more than just me giving my 2 cents. It’s from the heart.
As you may remember, Morgan made her main roster debut as part of The Riott Squad.
What started out as a badass group of misfits with a lust for chaos, turned into a jobber stable used mainly to put over whomever they faced in the ring.
With the departure of Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan is currently the only member of The Riott Squad who’s still a WWE performer.
If you’re wondering why she should be one of WWE’s breakout stars, you haven’t been following the product.
She hasn’t been walking out to a crowd of crickets these past few months. Ever since her recent run as a solo competitor, Morgan’s been gaining some serious momentum. This year’s Money in the Bank pay per view is a perfect example of just how over she is with fans.
As for Ridge Holland; he might be considered more of a wild card. Unlike Liv, Holland has yet to compete on the main roster.
But let’s just say that If he’s booked to be the same beast on the main roster as he is on NXT, there’s no doubt he’ll be a top guy on the main roster.
