WWE Raw is heading into WWE Survivor Series 2021 to battle WWE SmackDown in what has become annual brand warfare. This episode is considered to be a season premiere or new era due to the brand new rosters that were formed from the draft two weeks ago.

Due to the timing of this draft in the calendar year, the lack of brand loyalty has made this PPV meaningless. Not to mention, the lack of stakes has made this PPV underwhelming as well. Despite those booking mishaps and poor long-term planning, will SmackDown invade Raw on the road to Survivor Series?

In this week’s episode, there is one scheduled match: RKBro (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos for the Raw Tag Team Championships. The worst way to kickstart a new era on WWE Raw is by booking a title rematch, rather than a fresh feud that the fans can get behind.

In terms of segments, Queen Zelina is expected to celebrate her Queen’s Crown Tournament victory in a manner similar to King Xavier’s coronation on WWE SmackDown last week. Unlike what was done with King Xavier, will someone actually interrupt this coronation to kickstart a fresh feud with Zelina?

WWE is still one month away from WWE Survivor Series 2021. There are four matches that are already expected to occur at this PPV event: Big E vs. Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair, Damian Priest vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, and RKBro vs. Usos.

These four matches are automatically expected since the world champions, women’s champions, midcard champions, and tag team champions from both brands all battle each other at Survivor Series. Since WWE is known for booking curveball title changes before Survivor Series, will anyone stop these champs?

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict what will actually occur on this week’s season premiere of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on October 25, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on the USA Network. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

RKBro (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos [Raw Tag Team Championships]

On WWE Raw, RKBro is scheduled to defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against AJ Styes and Omos. Why would WWE kickstart a season premiere on WWE Raw with another rematch? RKBro won those titles from AJ Styles and Omos at SummerSlam in August and have been battling them for two months straight.

This feud needs to end now with an RKBro retention, especially since there are a plethora of tag teams in the division, such as Hurt Business, Street Profits, Dirty Dawgs, Mysterios, Alpha Academy, and Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez.

Prediction: RKBro

Who is Next For Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch?

On WWE Raw, Becky Lynch is expected to make an appearance as the new Raw Women’s Champion after swapping belts with Charlotte on WWE SmackDown last week. It would be gullible to expect a fresh start to this Raw Women’s Division.

Although there are approximately 15 active superstars in this division, the WWE has a proclivity to book the same superstars in the title scene for months on end. With that being said, Bianca Belair still has unfinished business with Becky Lynch after that SummerSlam fiasco, so she will likely be the top contender for the title.

Prediction: Bianca Belair

Who is Next For WWE Champion Big E?

On WWE Raw, Big E is expected to kickstart the show in what seems to be a nascent WWE Title reign. There are many established superstars in the main event scene of Monday Night Raw ready to challenge Big E for the title, but the one who stands out is Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins was the superstar Big E dethroned to win his first NXT Title back in 2013. Also, before Big E won the MITB contract this year, he was pinned by Seth Rollins in a Fatal 4 Way match with Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura on the MITB go-home episode of SmackDown. Big E and Rollins can use their history in NXT and their history with the MITB Contract to make a compelling story that encapsulates the WWE Title.

Prediction: Seth Rollins
