WWE: Five times WWE’s Women’s division stole the show
Ronda Rousey makes her WWE debut (Royal Rumble 2018)
While Ronda Rousey probably wouldn’t win an award for “most adorn WWE superstar,” her name certainly gets people talking. In some cases, that’s all that matters.
The former Raw Women’s champion made her WWE debut at the Royal Rumble in 2018. In case you forgot or missed it, Rousey didn’t cut a promo or do much talking that night.
Regardless, her appearance was enough to make headlines after the event was over.
During her stint, she’d go on to win the Raw Women’s title, headline multiple pay-per-view events, and blur the lines between what was real and what wasn’t in regards to the perception of how she felt about the WWE Universe.
Good times, good times.
Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks (WrestleMania 37)
The bout between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37 is historic for multiple reasons.
More specifically, it marked the first time that two African Americans were featured in the main event of the showcase of immortals.
While this fact alone would be enough to garner some serious attention, that certainly wasn’t the reason the match was so well received. These two put on an excellent performance.
In the end, Bianca Belair would ultimately dethrone The Boss. Thus, beginning her first reign as WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion.
