Following a fun wrestling weekend only a few days ago, this weekend should be another fun outing as WWE will present the last big four pay-per-view of 2021 — Survivor Series. The show is loaded with brand warfare matches per usual, including multiple champion vs. champion bouts.

Unlike most, I’m a fan of this format for the show and think it always adds a fun dynamic. Nonetheless, let’s make predictions for the show.

United States Champion Damian Priest vs. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura

This show includes a few first-time matchups, including this champion vs. champion clash between Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura. I’m not sure how the dynamic will be between the two in-ring, but fresh matchups are always applauded in my book.

Priest has been protected on the main roster and has always felt at least semi-important, something that can’t be said for Nakamura. Since Priest is undefeated in singles competition on the main roster, I think he picks up the win here.

Prediction: Damian Priest

Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orrin & Riddle) vs. Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos

Another first-time matchup, I’m thoroughly pleased with this card so far. This tag bout has a genuine chance of being match of the night, even with the other high-profile matches on the card.

It’s hard to big a winner here because both teams are booked very strongly. WWE’s main focus as a whole does seem to be The Bloodline, which is why I think the Usos have a better chance of taking this bout.

Prediction: The Usos

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair

I’m not buying the “heat” that both women are trying to create here. I understand they’re just trying to build a match, but it doesn’t have me any more excited than any other Flair/Lynch match ever has.

Don’t get me wrong, the match should and will be good but it’s not something I’m really looking forward to given the recent track record of women’s booking in the company. Not really sure who wins here either, but Lynch seems like the safe bet.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

Men’s Survivor Series Match: Team RAW (Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, Austin Theory) vs. Team Smackdown (Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, King Woods, Happy Corbin and TBA)

Given the participants, especially on Raw’s side, this match should be very good. The Survivor Series matches usually don’t ever disappoint, and this should be no exception.

As for Smackdown’s mystery partner, I think Sheamus or Cesaro are good guesses. It would be nice to see a mystery person not on the Smackdown roster as well.

That being said, I think Team RAW wins here. They have more “stars” on their team.

Prediction: Team RAW

Women’s Survivor Series match: Team RAW (Bianca Belair, Rhea Ridley, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Queen Zelina) vs. Team Smackdown (Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, Natalya, Asuka)

Just like the men’s match, this has all the makings to be a very good match. All of the participants are good, if not great wrestlers. It’s hard to pick a winner again, but they’ll probably want the “score” between the brands to stay close throughout the night. Therefore, I think Smackdown will take the win here.

Prediction: Team Smackdown

WWE Champion Big E vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns

I don’t think this will be the last meeting between Big E and Reigns. I’m still of the belief that E will be the one to dethrone Reigns, whenever that time comes. Nonetheless, Reigns will pick up the win here and continue his triumph of being the “big dog” of WWE.

Prediction: Roman Reigns

This article will be updated if any more matches are added to the Survivor Series card.
