Kevin Owens has been with the WWE for seven years, but he was already a star long before signing with the company. Kevin Owens was one of the first big NXT call-ups to debut on the main roster and make an impact. Kevin Owens has been a force in the WWE since joining the company. 5. Kevin Owens Vs. Sami Zayn (NXT Takeover: Rival, 2015)

Kevin Owen’s turning heel in NXT was one of the greatest moments because it would establish him as NXT’s top heel. The Heel turn would lead to an impressive feud with a former friend, Sami Zayn, the NXT champion. Kevin Owens and Zayn would wrestle at NXT Takeover Rival in a fantastic match that told the story of two friends who hate each other. Kevin Owens would win the match by TKO when Sami Zayn was unable to finish the match.

4. Kevin Owens Vs. Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 36)

The WWE Covid-19 era was a crazy time because no fans were allowed at any shows. When Seth Rollins turned heel and became the Monday Night Messiah, he made Kevin Owens his first victim. They would have a series of single matches during this feud, but the match they would have at Wrestlemania 36 would be the one that made this rivalry important in both wrestlers’ WWE careers. The match would start as a regular singles match but would be changed to a no disqualification match that would create a great Wrestlemania moment. The best moment of the match came when Kevin Owens hit an elbow drop on Rollins. Kevin Owens would win this match by hitting a Stunner on Rollins to win on the biggest stage.

3. Kevin Owens Vs. AJ Styles (Battleground 2017)

Kevin Owns Vs. AJ Styles is a match that many wrestling fans would consider a dream match back when Kevin was in ROH and AJ was in TNA because of the level both men wrestled at. Kevin Owens and AJ Styles had a rivalry for the United States championship back in 2017, and the belt would change hands multiple times. When it comes to who was the best wrestler in WWE in 2017, Kevin and AJ are at the top of that list because of the series of matches the two in-ring veterans could put together. The match at Battleground was the best match that the two put together, and it would go for 17 minutes.

2. Kevin Owens Vs. Finn Balor (The Beast In The East 2015)

Kevin Owens NXT run was one of the most incredible NXT championships runs because he made wrestling fans from all over the world hate him. Kevin Owens knows how to play the perfect heel, so when he started a feud with Finn Balor. Kevin Owens would lose the NXT Championship to Finn Balor in a classic match. This was an amazing time for Owens because he was feuding with John Cena on the main roster and Finn on NXT, which showed fans how important building Kevin Owens up was to the WWE.

Kevin Owen’s first main event feud was with John Cena, who would put Kevin Owens over in a huge way. Kevin Owens was a star on the NXT Brand, but he became an even bigger star when he defeated John Cena at the 2015 Elimination Chamber PPV. Owns would make an amazing first impression on the WWE Universe in a hard-fought battle with a future WWE Hall of Famer. The best part of the match was that both men would kick out of each other’s finishers, but in the end, Cena would lose to Kevin Owens when he would hit a second pop-up powerbomb.
