8. Becky, Charlotte, & Ronda Get Arrested

Over the last few years, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey have made it clear that they don’t like each other. However, things have never been as heated between the three women since 2019. All three of them believed that they were on top of the world and there was only room for one on top. They all had their own rightful claim to the top. Charlotte Flair had been dominant for years on her way to winning the most women’s championships in WWE history. She had just defeated Asuka to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Just a few months into her WWE career, Ronda Rousey was already a champion. She defeated Alexa Bliss to win the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. Once she had that championship, she had no plans of letting go of it. She had defeated the likes of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, Natalya, Mickie James, and others to show that she was the most dominant woman on the WWE roster. She had fought Charlotte Flair and forced her to snap and attack Ronda with kendo sticks when she couldn’t get the job done. A match that was initially meant to be Becky Lynch versus Ronda but Becky was injured before the match.

While Charlotte and Ronda were both on the top of their games, Becky Lynch’s fire was burning bright and strong. Since becoming “The Man,” Becky Lynch had become one of the most popular stars in the company. Her new attitude had many WWE fans comparing Becky to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. She said whatever it was she had to say and wasn’t afraid to cause trouble in order to get her way. At the 2019 Royal Rumble, Lana was meant to enter the rumble at number twenty-eight but was unable to compete. The Man seized the opportunity and went on to eliminate Charlotte to win the rumble match. With WrestleMania in her sights, Becky chose to face Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship.

However, Charlotte wasn’t going to let that happen so easily and managed to weasel her way into the match before winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship. With Charlotte as SmackDown Champion, Ronda as Raw Champion, and Becky with a date at WrestleMania. It became a winners take all match in the first-ever women’s main event of WrestleMania. However, before they could get to WrestleMania, all three women had to visit a jail cell. Just six days before their match, they got into a brawl on Raw that ended with cops hit and all three women in handcuffs in the back of cop cars. Oh, and a devastating knee to Ronda in the back of a cop car.

7. Batista gives Triple H a thumbs down

Back in 2005, we were witnessing a bit of a change of the times. In the 2005 Royal Rumble match, we all saw the future of the business when it came down to the final two competitors. John Cena was representing SmackDown and Batista was representing Raw. Two men that would proceed to command the WWE for the next decade. While Batista left the company a little sooner than Cena, he left his mark on the business forever. John Cena went on to be the poster boy of the company for years to come. However, there would have possibly never been a John Cena and a Batista like we know today if it wasn’t for the 2005 Royal Rumble.

Batista and Cena battled back and forth before they managed to eliminate each other at the exact same time. The referees and the WWE fans were both torn on who actually won the match. The fans show love to both men despite Batista being the heel in the situation. Things would get even more dramatic when the boss himself, Vince McMahon stormed towards the ring like a raging bull. Two torn quads later, Vince restarted the final two of the Rumble and Batista came up with the victory. Afterward, Batista was tasked to decide which shows champion he was going to challenge at WrestleMania.

However, he had two voices in his ears trying to make his decision for him. Evolution stablemates Ric Flair and the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H tried to convince Batista to move to SmackDown and challenge the WWE Champion JBL so that Evolution could rule the entire company. Batista was tasked to make his decision live on Raw with Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long there to convince him to choose their respective brands. He had to select between facing JBL and John Cena in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship or fighting his mentor Triple H.

Just when it looked like Batista was going to pick up the pen for SmackDown, Triple H decided to open his mouth and attempt to make his decision for him once again. Batissta proceeded to put down the Raw contract and give his mentor a smile and a thumbs up. The next moment, the thumb turned down and Batista made his decision by attacking his stablemates. He sealed his decision with a Batista Bomb to Triple H through a table. He signed the Raw contract and his date for WrestleMania 21 was official. Batista went on to defeat Triple H for his first of six world championship reigns.
