WWE Raw: Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Asuka win main event tag

WrestleMania Backlash is a few days away and tensions are high for another night of action within the WWE. Roman Reigns and The Usos are in a strong position to tighten their grip around the WWE Universe. As they marched toward that goal, there was a lot to get through before the PPV on Sunday.

The night started off with The Bloodline as so many do. Before Reigns could begin his speech, Team RK-Bro attacked, laying out The Usos and leaving him alone in the ring with Drew McIntyre. That led to a brawl between all six men.

The first match of the night was another six-man tag. Alpha Academy and Kevin Owens took on The Street Profits and Ezekiel.

Dawkins and Gable started out the match with both exchanging some counters. Gable took a big flapjack when Ford and Dawkins tossed him high in the air. Gable was able to get back in control, isolating Ford on their side of the ring. Gable tagged in Otis and it took a triple dropkick to knock Otis out of the ring but he was still on his feet.

Back from the commercial and Otis was dominating, getting the tag to Gable. Ford tried to fight back, but Gable countered his slingshot move into the Northern Lights Suplex. They made the tag to Owens who continued to beat on Ford. Owens went for a backdrop, but Ford countered with a kick to the head.

Ford made the tag to Ezekiel who came in on the hot tag. He laid out Gable first then knocked Otis out of the ring. Ezekiel went for a pin attempt, but Otis broke up the near fall. Ezekiel and Owens were left in the ring and they brawled, but Owens tripped Ezekiel from outside the ring. Gable used that opportunity to roll him up for the win.

Alpha Academy and Kevin Owens defeated The Street Profits and Ezekiel.

Veer Mahaan was out for another squash match. Burt Hanson was pulled immediately at the start of the bell. Hanson landed a punch but that didn’t do anything but cause more fire from Mahaan. It was a matter of moments before he ended it with the Cervical Clutch.

Veer Mahaan defeated Burt Hanson via submission.

Edge was out next with Damian Priest who was set for singles action against AJ Styles.

Priest quickly overpowers Styles, but he was able to avoid staying in the corner, getting the first advantage of the match. Priest was still able to back Styles into the ropes, pummeling him with shots. Styles was in a bad spot as Priest stomped away on him, going for a pin attempt after a Broken Arrow. Styles was able to knock Priest to the floor and hit a forearm over the top onto the floor. Styles tried to stay all over Priest, but he was able to launch him face-first into the ring post.

Back from the commercial and Priest was attempting a Superplex, but Styles slipped out hitting a counter for a two count. Styles attempted multiple pinfalls, but Priest fought of out them all only to eat a big kick. Priest hit a backbreaker for another two count. Styles hit the Pele Kick that staggered Priest. Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Priest countered with the South of Heaven chokeslam. Edge tried to get involved, but Styles was able to roll up Priest to get the victory.

AJ Styles defeated Damian Priest via pinfall.

They continued to attack Styles, but Finn Balor ran down and made the save.

The Miz was out next and his guest was Mustafa Ali. Before things got out of hand between the two, Austin Theory came out to help The Miz, setting up another match between the two men. But they set the trap for Ali to end up facing each of them both in a 2-1 handicap match.

Back from commercial and Ali was in control, but underhanded tactics by Theory sent Ali flying to the floor. The Miz tagged out and Theory began to toy with the smaller man. Ali was able to get rolling for a second but The Miz caught him with the Skull Crushing Finale as he tried to climb back into the ring.

Austin Theory and The Miz defeat Mustafa Ali via pinfall.

Nikki Ash attacked Dana Brooke backstage and pinned Brooke to become the 24/7 Championship leading to an immediate rematch hours later.

Coming out of the commercial break, Nikki Ash was in control. She tired Brooke up in the ring apron and hit her with forearms, but Brooke was able to eventually fight back to her feet. Brooke was able to flatten Nikki and pick up the title.

Dana Brooke becomes the 24/7 Champion once again.

Seth Rollins was out to be appreciated but he and Cody Rhodes once again had a war of words that resulted in the two men brawling in the ring.

Bobby Lashley took on Cedric Alexander next. MVP and Omos tried to distract Lashley, but that did not stop him from taking out his frustration on Alexander. Cedric was able to get a bit of an advantage over Lashley, but it did not last long. They ended up outside the ring where Lashley bounced Alexander’s head off the ring post. He tossed Alexander back in the ring for the spear, finishing him off with the Hurt Lock for the win.

The main event of the evening featured a six-woman tag team match. Beck Lynch joined Sonya Deville and Rhea Ripley against Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Liv Morgan.

Lynch and Asuka started out the match but Lynch backed away quickly and tagged out to Deville. Asuka did the same bringing in Belair. Deville cut and run who tagged in Ripley. They were matching power until Ripley used Belair’s hair to pull her to the mat. That allowed them to isolate Belair on the wrong side of the ring. Deville was rolling but it wasn’t long until Belair fought back, tagging out to Morgan.

Morgan got off some good offense against Deville, but Lynch tagged herself in to keep the momentum going. Morgan wasn’t on the defensive the whole time, landing a dropkick on Lynch for a two count. Morgan dove through the ropes to attack Ripley but Lynch took advantage of that moment to take out Morgan. She hit a big leg drop for a two count.

Back from commercial and Belair was battling Ripley once again. Belair hit a big shoulder tackle that dropped Ripley before lifting her high for a suplex and a two count. They ended up on the top rope and a distraction allowed Ripley to get the advantage and tag in Deville. They hit a double suplex on Belair, slamming her to the mat. Deville went for the cover but Morgan made the save.

Asuka was able to tag back in and began to dominate Deville. She tossed her over with a quick German Suplex and a basement dropkick. Asuka knocked Deville from the apron into Morgan hitting a code breaker. Back in the ring the match broke down. Deville laid out Morgan with a knee for another near fall.

Deville tried to cheat but the referee did not heed her demand. Morgan hit the Oblivion to get the pinfall victory.

Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Asuka defeated Sonya Deville, Becky Lynch, and Rhea Ripley via pinfall.
