By 1993, things were changing in the WWE. After the Vince McMahon steroid trial added a heap of scrutiny towards professional wrestling and its practices, the top stars changed.

Gone were the puffed up super bodybuilders and in were some entire different physiques. I mean, don’t get me wrong – most of these guys were in excellent shape. But it took a bit to adjust from the steroid-riddled bodies of the 1980’s to the more realistic bodies of the 1990’s.

It was called the New Generation and it ushered in some of the biggest stars in wrestling history. It gave the WWE new faces like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Undertaker.
