Savannah Evans is on the rise in Impact Wrestling.

The focus has been on current Impact Wrestling Knockouts champion Tasha Steelz and how she has the biggest challenge coming up at Slammiversary. The Knockouts division continues to grow in spectacular ways with new challenges on a weekly basis.

Savannah Evans seems to be a wildcard in the midst of the growth. Even though she has been loyal to Tasha Steelz, she is someone to watch out for after Slammiversary and there may be a shift that leaves a lot to look forward to for the rest of 2022.

Savannah Evans is a rising contender for the Impact Wrestling Knockouts title.

Savannah Evans has never been known to be draped in championship gold. This was true for her time in the independent wrestling circuit when she was known for fighting, but there seems to be a shift. This shift could lead to her first taste of championship gold in Impact Wrestling.

It all started when Tasha entertained the idea of Savannah Evans being involved in the build-up of the Queen of the Mountain match. Later, it was confirmed to be an all-star matchup of former Knockout champions only.

Even though Savannah was ultimately shut down to be involved in the match, it left a lot to think about for the future. Savannah wrestled to bring the pain and she never needed an incentive of the championship to bring the fight to her opponent.

Every single match Savannah has ever had was for the sake of a battle. She brought that attitude since she debuted on Impact Wrestling almost a year ago. It served as the perfect storm to a relentless Tasha Steelz who continued to make history at every turn.

Savannah has served as the difference-maker during her alliance with Tasha Steelz. Even even though they came up short for the Knockouts tag team titles, it didn’t matter. Tasha would go on to win the Knockouts championship.

The most underrated element is the change Tasha had once she aligned with Savannah. When Tasha teamed with Kiera Hogan, it was all about mind games. Tasha seemed to take a page out of Savannah’s playbook and raised her intensity level up a few degrees.

It served as a difference-maker that eventually led to Tasha winning her first singles title. The atmosphere always changes when Savannah is there and it forces her opponent and anyone she aligns with to step up their game.

The powerhouse has no use for championship gold throughout her career and that remains true today. She will continue to fight to show a mentality similar to wrestling legends Dave Taylor and Finlay. She will fight for the thrill of it and she would eat an opponent alive like there is a championship on the line.

Historically, Impact Wrestling has been known for ascensions after Slammiversary, and this time it could be Savannah Evans. It wouldn’t be a surprise if she happens to have a battle for championship gold and comes out victorious.

If Tasha Steelz retains, she might need to put her money where her mouth is and give the powerhouse a shot at the title. In event that anyone else wins the title, it might be Savannah’s time to go hunting for championship gold.

Savannah has been loyal to bringing a fight to anyone no matter the venue or stipulation. It is hard to imagine any other scenario no matter the outcome. It would be a crime if Savannah’s name isn’t slated as a potential challenger for the Knockouts title for the next major event.

Whether a fan always knew Savannah or learned about her for the first time. What can’t be denied is her consistency as a competitor. She has remained true to who she has always been as a competitor; her being with Impact Wrestling hasn’t changed anything.

Even though Savannah doesn’t do it for the championship glory, it’s not hard to imagine her with championship gold on a weekly basis. That spells trouble as a potentially massive shake-up awaits the Knockouts division real soon.
