WWE Raw Predictions: Elias Will NOT Show Up As Advertised

WWE Raw is on the road to WWE Money In The Bank 2022. In this week’s episode, there is one scheduled match: Becky Lynch vs. Asuka in a MITB Qualifying Match. There is one scheduled segment: Elias will return to perform in a concert for the WWE Universe. However, will Elias show up as advertised? Will Ezekiel and Elias be in the same ring at the same time? These are the questions that need answers.

In terms of the upcoming PPV, Rhea Ripley became the number one contender for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Title at MITB by winning a fatal 4-way against Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, and DouDrop. Meanwhile, Street Profits became the number one contender for Usos’ Undisputed Tag Team Titles by winning a championship contenders match via count out. Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley for the U.S. Title is also likely to be added to the MITB card.

In terms of the MITB Ladder Matches, it is expected that MITB qualifying matches will come into play for the superstars who are not in the aforementioned title matches. There were two MITB Qualifying matches on Raw last week where Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, and Alexa Bliss qualified, so there is a strong possibility that the two remaining Men’s MITB qualifying matches alongside the Lynch-Asuka match will take place on Raw this week.

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict the scheduled matches and segments that will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on June 20, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on USA. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

Elias Concert Promotional Segment

Ezekiel will dress up as Elias with a fake beard and play the guitar to trick Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens will attempt to rip off the beard and expose Ezekiel as Elias. However, Ezekiel will gaslight Owens again and smash him with the guitar. Ezekiel mentioned qualifying for the MITB Ladder Match this year, so this segment will likely lead to Adam Pearce coming out to announce that Ezekiel vs. Kevin Owens will be a MITB Qualifying Match, in which Ezekiel wins to end the trilogy.

Prediction: Ezekiel Will Trick Kevin Owens

Becky Lynch vs. Asuka [MITB Qualifying Match]

Becky Lynch will defeat Asuka in their MITB Qualifying Match because she already teased a redemption story pertaining to why she needs to win MITB after being so close to winning it in 2018. By qualifying here, she will join Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Lacey Evans, Raquel Rodriguez, and the winner between Shotzi and Aliyah on SmackDown in the MITB Ladder Match. Although Asuka already won MITB, it is unfortunate she won’t be in the match this year.
