WWE SummerSlam 2022 is this week, and the WWE has already made eight matches official for this “premium live event.” Most of these matches are either rematches from WrestleMania 38 or rematches from MITB earlier this month. If they aren’t rematches, they are likely celebrity matches. Since there were ten matches on last year’s SummerSlam, there will likely be two more matches added to this year’s card on go-home show week. The following will provide the final match card result predictions for the biggest event of the summer: WWE SummerSlam 2022.

WWE SummerSlam 2022 is scheduled to take place on July 30, 2022, live on Peacock. Here are the final match card result predictions.

Usos (c) vs. Street Profits [Undisputed World Tag Team Championships: Special Guest Referee Jeff Jarrett]

Street Profits will dethrone Usos for the Undisputed World Tag Titles because they need redemption from the controversial finish at MITB and the special guest referee was booked here to assure that history does not repeat itself. Profits would be a breath of fresh air in this dead tag team division that is running out of babyface teams to even challenge the Usos anymore. Booking the Profits to win here would also plant some interesting seeds of doubt for the fate of Roman Reigns and The Bloodline as a whole when he defends the world title later in the night.

It was originally questionable as to why Jeff Jarrett became the special guest referee instead of Sami Zayn, who has been a key component of The Bloodline’s storyline as an ‘honorary Uce.’ However, Zayn has had his arm in a sling for the past few weeks and it seems to reportedly be a legit injury. He would have been perfect for this role, but the injury may have hindered him from this opportunity. Nonetheless, Profits have proven to be one of the best tag teams on the planet after their performance at MITB and should not break up merely for a Montez Ford singles run.

Street Profits are better off as tag team champions right now and will have fresh heel challengers in Viking Raiders and Judgment Day lurking in the balance.

Prediction: Street Profits (via pinfall)
