Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch [Raw Women’s Title]

Bianca Belair will retain the Raw Women’s Title against Becky Lynch by pinning her in 26 seconds because she needs to fully redeem herself from that egregious SummerSlam moment last year, take her out of the title picture, and move on to new ventures. Becky never got her one-on-one title rematch for the title since losing at Mania and never got pinned in the triple threat title match with Asuka at HIAC, so this rematch on a big stage like SummerSlam makes sense. Since it is annoying for the fans to watch these two repeatedly battle, a stipulation should have been added.

However, if the match ends quickly, it would fit the storyline and save the fans from watching another WrestleMania rematch. In terms of her future challengers, Rhea Ripley was supposed to battle Belair at MITB but her recent brain injury hindered her from that opportunity. There have been no recent reports on the timetable for her return, but Bayley has been rumored to return at SummerSlam. Since Bayley was supposed to get a title match against Belair before tearing her ACL, her first match back should be against Belair so that they can continue what they started.

Once Belair retains her title against Lynch, a surprise post-match attack by Bayley would do the trick for her big return.

Prediction: Bianca Belair (via pinfall in 26 seconds)

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey [SmackDown Women’s Title]

The storyline here entails Ronda Rousey being stronger, tougher, and more experienced than Liv Morgan whilst Morgan has more passion and heart for pro wrestling than Rousey. Although Morgan should retain in a clean title defense so soon after winning it via her MITB cash in on Ronda at WWE MITB 2022, Charlotte will attack Rousey as revenge for losing the title to her at Backlash. This should set up a triple threat title match for WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, where Charlotte will win the title because she ‘needs’ to win upon return and stat pad her title reigns.

It would be a complete waste if Morgan loses just like Nikki ASH did last year, but all logic is defied when Charlotte enters the equation.

Prediction: Ronda Rousey (via DQ); Liv Retains (via champion’s advantage)
