WWE SummerSlam 2022 Predictions: Brock Lesnar Will Smash Roman Reigns
By Mark Justice
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar [Undisputed WWE Universal Title: Last Man Standing Match]
Brock Lesnar will smash Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, leave WWE with the title, and blow a kiss to Stephanie McMahon, Roman Reigns and Mr. MITB Austin Theory the same way CM Punk did to Vince McMahon, John Cena and then-Mr. MITB Alberto Del Rio at WWE MITB 2011. It can be argued that Roman Reigns will retain against Brock Lesnar since Lesnar was the Plan B option for Randy Orton, who was obviously not going to dethrone Reigns. However, the recent news regarding Lesnar’s walk out has changed everything.
Brock Lesnar was reportedly pissed about Vince McMahon’s retirement and decided to leave SmackDown, thereby hurting the main event of SummerSlam. Lesnar said: “If Vince is gone, I’m gone.” However, Lesnar surprisingly returned to WWE SmackDown to F-5 Mr. MITB Austin Theory. It can be argued that Lesnar returned to responsibly finish the SummerSlam storyline before walking out, but it can also be surmised that Lesnar has a sinister plan afoot to take the world title and leave WWE forever. However, even if he stays, he still wins.
Even though Drew McIntyre will inevitably defeat Sheamus to become the number one contender for their planned title match at Clash at the Castle, that does not mean it cannot become a triple threat match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre for the title at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. Reigns will want his rematch so he will obviously be in this title match whether he wins or loses this match at SummerSlam. Nonetheless, what’s stopping Lesnar from incapacitating Reigns at SummerSlam like he did to Undertaker at WrestleMania 30?
Nothing can stop Brock Lesnar now because he is pissed and, at the end of the day, Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do. The Bloodline is done at SummerSlam.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar (via 10-count)
