WWE SummerSlam and the following shows are behind us. The company has put on a great show with HHH at the helm that even the ratings have spiked. While the world wanted to be sure that this era would be better or go downhill from Vince’s time, some were worried if WWE was up for sale. The superstar’s performance, followed by expertise from HHH, helped to get positive reviews for both SummerSlam and Monday Night Raw. The bigger question is if any match was cut short, or did anything change in the grand scheme of things as we welcomed the change?

WWE is not up for sale

The rumors of WWE going up for sale started doing the rounds way back, and they continue to be a part of the rumor mill. Fans speculated that Vince was downsizing the roster as it would be an opportunity to present itself to potential buyers. The less the money to pay to superstars, the better it is for the potential buyers. The names of some potential buyers also did the rounds. Current reports point to the company not being on the selling block, yet.

According to an article on CNBC, WWE is not up for sale. The potential buyers have never said anything about buying the company, and neither has the WWE directly or indirectly hinted at this change. WWE knows how to play its fans. A new regime has taken over Vince McMahon, and things are up and up. The speculations of WWE getting sold are now over as the fans, the superstars, and its investors seem to be heavily involved and enjoy the product.

SummerSlam match cut short

WWE SummerSlam proved to be better than other shows in the past, and the Hunter influence was there in the matches. Every match shined, and the superstars performed for the WWE Universe to enjoy. According to Bryan Alvarez and reported by CagesideSeats, the Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey match at the Biggest Party of the Summer was cut short due to Logan Paul vs The Miz going for a longer duration.

Hunter focuses on quality content instead of content that makes fans feel bad or puts them off a show. He would have known that the way fans look at Liv Morgan is a superstar who wouldn’t be able to stand against Ronda Rousey for a longer duration. The overall factor that Logan Paul was a bigger draw than this match makes the time cut short makes absolute sense.
