WWE Raw Predictions: Sami Zayn Will Finally Betray The Bloodline

WWE Raw is on the road to WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. In this week’s episode, there are two scheduled matches: Bobby Lashley vs. The Miz in a non-title match and Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs. Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez in the women’s tag team tournament finals for the women’s tag team championships. Also, Sami Zayn and the Usos are scheduled to appear on WWE Raw. Will Sami Zayn finally betray the Bloodline and reunite with Kevin Owens for a tag title match at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022?

In terms of the upcoming PPV, there are officially five matches scheduled thus far: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, Liv Morgan (c) vs. Shayna Baszler for the SmackDown Women’s Title, Bianca Belair (c), Asuka, and Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley, Iyo Sky, & Dakota Kai, Seth Rollins vs. Riddle, and Gunther (c) vs. Sheamus for the Intercontinental Title. At the very least, it is expected that the United States Championship match and the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match will also be added to the card.

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict the scheduled matches and segments that will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on August 29, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on USA. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

Bobby Lashley vs. The Miz [Non-Title Match]

On WWE Raw, Bobby Lashley is scheduled to battle The Miz in a non-title match after Dexter Lumi abducted Miz last week during a tag team match that also featured AJ Styles and Tomasso Ciampa. It is questionable as to why The Miz is not tied up in a dark room with duct tape on his mouth after being kidnapped by Lumis, but he will definitely not defeat Lashley here by any means because the champion should not lose on live television. Bobby Lashley’s matches with Styles, Ciampa, and Miz in the past three weeks should lead to a fatal four-way title match at the PPV.

Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs. Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez [Women’s Tag Team Titles]

On WWE Raw, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai are scheduled to battle Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez in the finals of the Women’s Tag Team Tournament. While Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai defeated Asuka and Alexa Bliss on Raw to advance to the finals, Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Natalya and Sonya Deville on SmackDown to advance to the finals. In terms of the winner, it seems that this will go to Sky & Kai as they aim to continue solidifying their nascent faction with Bayley. Sasha Banks & Naomi, the real champs, should return to confront the interim champs after the match.

Sami Zayn & Usos Take A Trip To Raw [Segment]

On WWE Raw, Sami Zayn and the Usos are scheduled to take a trip from their island of relevancy. This is the perfect time for Sami Zayn to finally betray the Bloodline and reunite with Kevin Owens to win the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at Clash at the Castle. The Bloodline must fully go down at this PPV, especially since Reigns is clearly losing the world title to Drew McIntyre. Due to the ongoing storyline between Zayn and the Usos, it would make perfect sense to pull the trigger and create a moment that will change the tag division in WWE forever.
