WWE Raw Predictions: Matt Riddle Will Definitely Screw Seth Rollins

WWE Raw is on the road to WWE Extreme Rules 2022. In this week’s episode, there are two scheduled matches: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins for the United States Championship and Mr. MITB Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens in a grudge match.

In terms of the upcoming PPV, there are no Raw-affiliated matches scheduled yet, but it is expected that Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley for the Raw Women’s Championship will be added to this card since Bayley did pin Belair in their six-superstar tag match at Clash at the Castle to establish her spot as the number one contender.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on USA. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins [United States Championship]

On WWE Raw, Bobby Lashley is scheduled to defend the United States Championship against Seth Rollins. Lashley will retain the title because Matt Riddle will distract Rollins and cost him the victory as payback for Rollins costing Riddle his match against Finn Balor last week on Raw.

This should set up a rematch between Riddle and Rollins at WWE Extreme Rules 2022, where either Riddle can avenge his loss from their match at Clash at the Castle two weeks ago or Rollins can solidify his victory over Riddle in his long-winded road to title contention.

Prediction: Bobby Lashley

Mr. MITB Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens [Grudge Match]

On WWE Raw, Mr. MITB Austin Theory is scheduled to battle Kevin Owens in a grudge match after their heated confrontation last week. Owens basically called out Theory for lacking the credentials to be the true face of the WWE since he was handed moments by Vince McMahon instead of earning them with his own talent and merit.

Since Owens does not think Theory has what it takes, Theory has to win here to prove Owens and his doubters wrong on his journey to becoming world champion. Also, he needs momentum in preparation for his main rival, Johnny Gargano.

Prediction: Mr. MITB Austin Theory
