WWE SmackDown Predictions: Goldberg Will Replace Logan Paul

WWE SmackDown is on the road to WWE Extreme Rules 2022. In this week’s episode, there are two scheduled matches: Braun Stormwna (c) vs. Otis (w/Chad Gable) and Usos (c) vs. Brawling Brutes for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. Also, the White Rabbit is set to be revealed on this episode. Could it be Bray Wyatt? Could it be Karrion Kross? Or is it merely Goldberg, who will replace Logan Paul in the Undisputed World Title Match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel?

In terms of the upcoming PPV, there is only one SmackDown-affiliated match scheduled so far: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules Match. However, it is expected that Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross in an Extreme Rules Match will be added to this card since Kross has been taunting and distracting McIntyre ever since McIntyre has been in contention for the Undisputed World Title.

WWE SmackDown is scheduled to take place on September 23, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on FOX. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

Braun Strowman vs. Otis (w/Chad Gable) [Grudge Match]

On WWE SmackDown, Braun Strowman is scheduled to battle Otis in his first match since returning to the WWE. Strowman will obviously defeat Otis in his first match back, especially to avenge that Worlds Strongest Slam delivered by Otis last week. It is completely asinine for Strowman to just steam roll though the tag division, but it seems that the WWE is doing this as a way to build momentum for the Monster Among Men.

Usos (c) vs. Brawling Brutes [Undisputed Tag Team Championships]

On WWE SmackDown, Usos are scheduled to defend the Undisputed Tag Team Titles against Brawling Brutes, who won a fatal four way number one contenders match last week. Usos will retain the titles because Imperium will definitely screw Brawling Brutes in this match. Usos should lose the titles to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn because Sami Zayn has been taken for granted and used as an “Honorary Uce” by the Usos and he needs Kevin Owens to help him see the light.

Who is the White Rabbit? [Segment]

On WWE SmackDown, the White Rabbit is set to be revealed. Fans have speculated it to be Bray Wyatt or Karrion Kross due to the eerie presentation of the vignettes. However, the WWE is merely teasing a red herring in order to work the fans. After losing to Reigns at the Chamber in Saudi, Goldberg has stated that he wants his rematch. He will get that rematch when he replaces Logan Paul as the White Rabbit in the world title match against Reigns at Crown Jewel.
