WWE started this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in an empathic fashion. The fans knew Brock Lesnar returned last week, and this week they made the match official. WWE confirmed that the most awaited match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley will take place at Crown Jewel. With this confirmed, what else could WWE have planned for its fans? Without further ado, let’s get down to this week’s wrestling rumors:

Brock Lesnar is back with a vengeance on his mind

Brock Lesnar returned with a thought in mind, and Andrew Zarian confirmed that he is returning for the same reason we all wanted him to be in the company. Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar is a match of high proportions.

WWE plans to do it at Crown Jewel to make sure that it gets the attention of the WWE Universe. The same will help them in planning whether this needs to be done on a bigger platform or it will not be as relevant as they thought.

Ezekiel’s character dropped for Elias to return

WWE stands for Walk With Elias. The phrase is back as is the superstar who made it famous. While there’s no direct reference to who will The Drifter face upon return, it looks like the United States Champion may be back in the ring with Elias.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ezekiel’s character was dropped immediately after Triple H took charge. It gave Elias the time to grow his beard and the hair to fit the character that returned.

Why Zelina Vega became a part of Legado Del Fantasma

WWE brought back Zelina Vega, and this time it was with Legado Del Fantasma. The reason was unknown until Dave Meltzer informed us about it in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE had originally planned on keeping Elektra Lopez as a part of the stable when they moved to SmackDown.

On top of that, Lopez was scheduled to fly to Worcester, where the stable made its blue brand debut. WWE chose Zelina Vega since they planned to pit them against Hit Row, including B-Fab. Vega was added to the group because they wanted her to wrestle B-Fab at some point since she would be a better opponent than Lopez.
